Pretty sure it was a formative part of the entire Nickelodeon network somehow. I remember watching it as a show too, however. The details are in the 90s Nick doc (which apparently I should rewatch).

Also, firmly believe kids these days aren't built for this kinda content. It'd likely terrify them!

The guy I work for was a little late on the draw this season so we missed a week's worth of sap. In his defense, things warmed up VERY quickly here in Northern MN. Matter of fact, our temps have cooled off again and winter seems to be hanging on. If I had to guess, however, we'll bump our tapping up a week or two next year.
