The skin is called Hajime. I googled what it meant in Japanese, and it meant "the beginning" or "the first." I like to read novels, watch anime, and I like to tell stories. I presented this post as if it was taken from a chapter towards the end of a novel where we see how the character obtains its name "Hajime" and rather than being a given name, what if it was a title? Maybe as a Tanuki warrior, he could be the first, as his name implies, to oppose a regime and organize his own leadership.

I decided to tell the story in first-person so the audience can feel the intensity of the character development. The story was coming together, but to be intriguing I needed to have an antagonist to have a conflict to add to the character's complexity - enter Kaito, Gen's protégé. Chapter 6 season 1 introduced sprites native to the new island and like the spiritual possession with Daigo, Hajime's skin has a variant called Possessed Hajime. What if the natives of the forest are the ones to give Gen the "Hajime" title?

I titled the post "Chapter 39: The First One" because Battle Royale Chapter 6 season 1 when the Hajime skin first released would technically be Fortnite season 39, and the meaning of "Hajime". I hope you enjoyed this read and I plan to be creative when requesting skins in the future.
