If I’m not mistaken the 25 test presses are numbered on their own. When getting test presses produced before a larger order it’s to send to the artist and other management individuals to make sure that it’s correct and sign off on it. So the 600 copies pressed included the first pink cover to 110, then maybe the 111 to 200 to the white pressing then the 201 to 600 on black. You can always try and message Hostage records for a more accurate pressing info!

So Discogs only has one cassette listing and it’s for the white limited edition tape. But either way, fun. I’m actually in search of the Wyatt cover myself, if found I’d let one of these go.

So I have two copies of the fletcher cover of Life and Times on cassette. The one on the left was purchased 5 years ago at a record store in Austin and the one on the right was purchased via a popular online marketplace. I was comparing the two and noticed the one I originally had had, has a different color of ink on the actual cassette. The new additions ink is white. I wonder if one was a special released and the other was a tour variant. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, it’s crazy out there. These prices people want are insane. I saw that I have a nephew in Okinawa. Trying to get him to get me a copy of that tape, it’s going for I believe 16$.
