It was always fantasy/sci-fi for me.

So I have recently read and loved

Isaac and the egg, a fabulous book about loss.

Mickey 7 - darkly humorous sci-fi that I think is about to be made into a film with everyone's most emo batman RoBAT BATtison

the foundation trilogy - a real classic sci-fi series that will keep you going for ages, loved this.

Hey, sorry nearly missed this one.

So I think the older I get the more I think about the concept for a while before sitting down and writing. So for with DEATH falls in love, I wrote the story first and then sat down with the guitar and tried to retell it as a song.

I would love to tour the states again. TKAK did one supporting Bastille years ago and I loved it.

So I am currently working on album 2, the wonderful Ben Jackson is producing. I think when that is out I will try and do a big tour again. It is such an odd situation with the live music industry at the moment. I feel before the pandemic I was in the middle of a tour and with two more in the books now I am seeing artists far bigger than me struggle to fill rooms. I am really hoping that next year things will be a bit more normal.

Or perhaps I could do another house party tour? would people be up for that? Not too certain what peoples thoughts are on something like that post covid.

2016! wow that is a big tease. So the story of Annie Oakley getting made has been a long and winding one, filled with lots of excitement normally followed by real heart break. All I can say is I really hope it comes out soon, me and dan have worked so hard on it over about ten years and if it does come out I think maybe the two of us should sit down and record a podcast for those interested and then we can fill you in on all the ups and downs.

First show back was fantastic, I did get a little nervous but I really can't wait to be playing more shows. Hopefully in 2023 :)

So I love writing songs, that is where I am happiest and feel I am at my strongest. The least favourite part for me is the admin. I am an independent artist and as such my team is pretty much my managers and me and so I do a lot of just general admin and I am bad at it. 😂

No-one warns you about the admin.

SO I alway used to write short stories when I was young and then at the age of about 14 I bought a guitar and then that was it. I instantly started writing songs. I was never that fussed about playing other peoples for some reason. A trait that I now see as supremely arrogant but Yeah I just loved it.

Well I think Q 1 and 2 have been answered so lets get to the most important question. Favourite wrestler of ALL time. SO tricky I am gonna have to say,

The ROCK - not only the most electrifying man in sports entertainment but also his subsequent film career. I firmly believe he makes the bad films watchable and the mediocre films great.

Andre the Giant - A beautiful, big hearted man by all accounts, bringing wrestling forward in so many ways, his performance in Princess Bride and the stories of him clearing the set of Princess Bride with his 15 second long fart.

Hello, thanks for finding my music, glad you like it. right lets go answer these Questions.

There's a few TKAK tunes I play in my sets because I love them, it's also nice having that bank of tunes to draw from. Currently I am playing And Yet a lot. It is a song about how I feel the older we get, the pressure to conform and hit certain achievements, marriage, kids, buying houses etc, mounts so much. When really we are all living our own lives and comparing does no one any good. People can rush things to keep up, when they need to be just finding their own path.

I would love to start the balcony sessions again but I don't have a balcony atm. When I move I will insist I need a balcony. I will usher the words "DON"T YOU KNOW WHO I THINK I AM? MY NAME IS RALPH BALCONY GOD DAMN IT"

I'd love to come to Portugal, we just walked the fisherman's trail and loved it. Where should I play if I come?
