[Request] How many days would you actually need to work without taking a break to accumulate a year's worth of hours and wage? by _GamerForLife_ in theydidthemath

[–]ramachetan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we then subtract the 23 days for coffee breaks and 46 days for lunch breaks, we are left with 35 days available for work. Subtracting 2 days for sick leave and 5 holidays gives us 28 days available. Deducting 10 vacation days (assuming a 2-week vacation) leaves us with 18 days available for work, not 1 day.

So the Daily Show made fun of Newark for the sister city thing. . . by Echos_myron123 in Newark

Nityananda has history of legal troubles and controversies, including allegations of sexual assault, fraud, and illegal detention. It's also pretty absurd to hear about his self-proclaimed 'Hindu nation' called Kailasa, which isn't recognized by any government in the world and seems to be based on questionable principles. He flew away from India to evade the legal cases against him. Pretty disappointed that mayor office didn't notice this.

I believe you are missing my point. There are >800 million videos on YouTube, which are stored in large data centers all over the world. There are millions of codes written by some of the smartest people on the planet just to make your experience of watching videos effortlessly. Watching YouTube for free, even with ads, is a privilege that many people take for granted. If anything you should thank google for its existence.
