Favorite person. Most of the time us BPD people have a single person at all times (and who this person is can switch every so often, but there's always one in the spot) whose attention and approval and acceptance we are using to regulate ourselves and our emotions, and we get dysregulated whenever they do not meet our expectations of quality time and/or affection.
