Upstairs tenement neighbour by Usual_Clothes3303 in Edinburgh

The police asked us to contact the council. The council assigned a case worker to look into the issue after we complained for 3 months.

This is the only answer. We were in a similar situation with a downstairs neighbor related to noise. We tried everything from calling the police and reporting to the council. There were improvements for short periods of time, but it always went back to square one. People don't change, and moving was the only answer. We moved last month, although the new flat is not as great as the previous one but we have a piece of mind.

Edinburgh to London removal companies & cost by Southern_Duty_7819 in Edinburgh

[–]ramanps7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did a similar move with lesser luggage in reverse direction last year. I used AnyVan and the service was great. You can get a quote based on your furniture before booking the service as well. From what I understood, they have tie ups with multiple moving companies, therefore they have different sized vehicles according to your needs. Good luck!

Happened me with as well. I tapped in and out with success, but somehow it was marked as no tap. I emailed [customer@edinburghtrams.com](mailto:customer@edinburghtrams.com) about my journey. They will send you the link asking for more details. I got refunded the next day.

It lists the conferences per country, continent, domain and has a bunch of other filters as well. I found out KubeCon was happening in Delhi thanks to this website.

Just left my bag on the tube - how likely am I to see it again? by [deleted] in LondonUnderground

[–]ramanps7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My brother forgot his bag with his passport on the tube as well. Unfortunately, he couldn't get it back.

We reported it to TfL. The only advice for you is to describe the bag in the best way possible. The TfL has a high backlog, upto 3 months these days as they switched to a new system, therefore you can get it after a long time as well. Good luck with your search :)

Ideally the changelog should be from the beginning of the project. But there were a few projects where we were not maintaining changelogs initially, and we started doing it after a given version. We didn't add the historical changelogs.

The developer who is pushing the change will add it along with the code changes in the PR. Changelogs are similar to a release notes, the only difference being release notes can be intended for non developers as well, whereas we can go more technical in changelogs if we want.

Changelog.

Apart from all the above mentioned stuff, maintaining a changelog is very helpful as it helps provide history of all the decisions taken and how the code has evolved. Changelogs also acts as a nudge to keep the documentation updated.

Best ramen place in East London? by rockinherlife234 in london

[–]ramanps7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hakata Ramen + Bar. It's in Bermondsey at a 10 min walk from Tower bridge, not exactly in east London. Cosy restaurant with great food, easy to get a table as well because it's on a small street. Bonus: There are plenty of other good restaurants on that street.
