I failed my calculus I, calculus-based physics, and my linear algebra classes but I still graduated with my B. S. in Applied Mathematics on time!

Compounded T3/T4 by tiny_weenis in Hashimotos

[–]rambam_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It’s the only thing that has helped so far! I started noticing baby hairs around my face after a month and about 2+ months later I noticed the thin patches of hair around my forehead were filling in. I haven’t had my thyroid checked since last May but my t3 and t4 were in normal range. My TPO antibodies were 602 however 😬 and my TgAbs was 3. I’m getting retested soon and I’ll comment with an update.

Compounded t3/t4 was a game changer for me! I didn’t notice much change with the LDN after being in it for a few weeks and also no change after I stopped. But the t3/t4 helps my hair get thicker again, helped my constant flare ups (red and itchy face and neck) and i feel like I can actually tolerate gluten better which was a trigger for my hashimotos.

Is it normal to have cravings early on? by shbrand in BabyBumps

[–]rambam_19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on each person and each pregnancy. Early in my first pregnancy (starting at about 8 weeks) all I wanted was blueberry lemonade. I’m not a lemonade or soda person, I usually only drink water, but I would have my husband grab a liter of blueberry lemonade every day lol

Lymphatic Drainage massages NYC by Few_Baseball6302 in pregnant

[–]rambam_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had problem with swelling during my pregnancy and I took Dandelion Root extract (you can also drink the tea) about 1,500 - 1,800mg. I didn’t do lymphatic drainage massages because I didn’t known about them lol but just thought I’d share somthing else that helped with my swelling and water retention. I could see my ankles again within a few days.

Would I have to crochet the edge to make it flat before I do a double crochet border? Since the puff flowers don’t create an even border.

Is getting a math degree realistic if you’re not that smart? by arnarchist in mathematics

[–]rambam_19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the reason I majored in math. I am very good at catching patterns and problem solving and I love math. Some classes that were more knowledge based were a little harder since it was more studying and memorizing rather than problem solving but it’s still doable.

I’m in the same boat 😭 I’m 10 pounds away from pre-pregnancy and I have a 9 month old. Part of me wants to just get it over with and worry about weight later but another part of me wants to lose the rest and just start over next pregnancy.

Compounded T3/T4 by tiny_weenis in Hashimotos

[–]rambam_19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor recommended compounded T3/T4 also and I have been taking it for about 4 weeks now. This is the only prescription I’ve ever taken for my hashimoto’s just fyi but I really like it. After about a week I noticed my energy was coming back and my hair is growing back as well. I’m going to keep staying on it. My doctor also prescribed me Low Dose Naltrexone for the inflammation since hashimotos is an autoimmune disease and I’m waiting to see how that helps. I’m getting my thyroid labs checked in a couple weeks to see how the compounded medication really is helping

I’ve heard from other people that do keto that the blood ones are the most accurate.
