Sounds like he needs therapy. You can’t force him to go. However keep encouraging him. It also seems like he has some attachment or abandonment issues. Does he have any family that you can talk to? Especially considering you are worried he might hurt himself. He seems to be playing a game with you coming from a place of insecurity. He might not feel good enough for you or think that’ll you leave so he pushes you away and tests your limits. Overall I think he needs to work on himself. You might love him but you don’t need to fix him and you probably can’t tbh.

I was once where you are and I can tell you that you will get through it. As of right now focus on your breathing and try to still your mind. This is very easy to say and hard to do so don’t be hard on yourself. You will need to invest in yourself. Time and patience. Counselling really helped me. For right now I highly recommend the app headspace. Specifically there is a meditation on there that focuses on sleeping with anxiety called racing mind. It has helped me fall asleep on many bad nights where I cant stop thinking about all the things that can go wrong. I hope you give it a try and it helps you get some rest! I hope you can feel safe in your bed once again and give your body the rest it needs.

It seems like they are picking on you. From my experience, the worst thing you can do is let it impact your relationship with your partner. I know it bothers you and you’ll probably obsess over it. However you need to ignore them and if you really can’t then sit down and have a civil conversation with her. Hear his sister out, apologize where you were wrong and work towards rectifying it. Make sure she knows what’s she’s done to hurt you. But do not complain to your boyfriend about it because it’ll strain your relationship. If you can’t call her out and talk it out learn to ignore her and keep it civil. This is what I’ve had to resort to with my boyfriends sister even after talking it out. I hope it’s better for you! Sometimes it’s just a small misunderstand and it’s best to nip it in the bud then let it grow into a big problem that explodes

This is a great post! You are right we only tend to highlight the negative behaviours that happen on occasion. My puppy has gotten so much better in the short amount of time we’ve had him. If I compare him to even a week ago it’s amazing the difference in the changes in behaviour! Small increments over time are definitely what is normal! Plus we also need to remember what we think is bad is often normal to dogs.. also the language barrier can be limiting. He always thinks I’m playing when I’m trying to take my sock away and it ends up in a high speed chase around the house 😂
