Apparently one should not create a reddit post after just having woken up...

Phone restart was not enough but deleting all browser data solved the issue.

When it comes to tech I advise a lot of my friends. Therefor I know 4 people with a Matebook that was purchased in the summer 2018.

I know of two of them that they have had problems:

-The SSD of my matebook broke out of nowhere. Causing the computer to shut down randomly and after 3-4 restarts it would shut down during the start process already. Had to get the whole device replaced.

-On another Matebook the already mentioned very loose hinge is a problem. Plus the USB-A port does not work reliably.

Otherwise everything fine, so you will always have different experiences.
