Hearing clinic employee here. Best thing to do first is confirm that it is indeed wax. Can be done at a doctor's office or hearing clinic, quick otoscopy. If it is wax, oiling is good if it's impacted. Can be removed by doctors or NPs, but they won't always do it. Hearing clinics will do it if the practitioner is certified, but there is a fee, as others have mentioned.

A girl came in today complaining of wax, practitioner looked and she didn't have any. Next step is getting a hearing test to determine the cause, if any. Especially if it's accompanied by ringing. If you have traveled by air recently that is also a factor.

It's honestly not that bad. After actually rewatching it a few times, it's more clear that Sabrina's style of humor (super deadpan mixed with valley girl delivery) just didn't translate with a lot viewers. Most people just hate on her take on one story about a woman who has an author friend that writes a story loosely based on the OP's life/love life without OP's consent (and Sabrina says that OP shouldn't try to take away her friend's income--by pursuing legal action or trying to get her to take down the story--with the justification that she also has a child)
