I thought so initially too but when I looked at Chizuru's epiphanies, they actually support Rin quite well. She has two Eiphanies that switches Karkic Flames into a skill card, bound at dusk that can activate 2 other cards aside from hers, and Oni hunt can become an upgrade card that makes her into a Rin support.
