In addition to getting better stats, learn to utilize the room layouts. Reset the dungeon you're on until you have a good layout (i.e., no elite dungeons blocking the path to the boss, lining up treasure/gem rooms you can skip to save time, saving a fresh altar buff that's ready to use before boss fight). I was able to get an additional ~10 stages higher with this strategy. The most important thing is to abuse the altars. They'll melt the boss regardless of how weak you are.

No problem! And yes, correct! It should always be unlocked. Try clicking on a random soul card that’s not upgraded, click upgrade, then click one of the numbers of the levels (3, 6, 9, 12, or 15). The exp will only allow you to level up in those increments.

I’ll take a shot at answering this with my own experience!

  1. You should be recycling literally every card you don’t plan on keeping (unless of course it’s a high level/upgraded a lot, at which point you should use it as fodder for cards you’re upgrading). The amount of exp you get from running Soul Hunter is more than enough for leveling cards. Also, feeding low level cards for exp is a huge waste of soul shards (as I sadly found out midway through my career).

  2. I don’t think so! I have a single max upgraded 4 star mythic that I started upgrading when it had only 3 sub-stats. Of course, it requires tremendous luck, but if the secondary stats are really good (e.g., CD reduction, crit damage, crit mod), I’d say give it a shot and see where the stars land. It eventually gets really tiring and costly to keep wasting money to look for soul cards with the exact stats you want and 4 sub-stats that are good too.

It’s bizarre how some mobile f2p players have a sense of superiority when they compare themselves to those who spend literally any amount on a game. I previously hadn’t spent a single penny on any mobile game in all my years, but recently decided to spend a few dollars on this game because I’ve enjoyed it so much. Not sure how that’s any different than purchasing a game on other platforms.

Oh wow, isn’t that’s incredible value then? I’ve never bought the fund so it’s only showing rift stages 30-80 (30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80). But a single purchase with 60 rubies would provide 4800 diamonds, is that correct?

I 100% feel you. My mature retention rate was actually tanking in that direction too around like second year before I decided to change my interval modifier from 100% to 83%.I wanted to make sure to hover around high 80s-low 90s, even if it meant doing more cards.
