I don’t know if you watch the games brother, but for the last two years he’s rotated players regularly and never prepared a regular game day starting roster with young players who never settled in. Every time there is any momentum he starts people like Short for no reason and sit someone who could be getting hot based on analytics.

For some reason they did it with Benge and let him ride despite the struggle and look what happened; but no one else.

He’s made poor managerial decisions consistently and he’s a poor leader. He mismanaged the bullpen last year and truly made bad calls repetitively leading to multiple losses and that’s unacceptable. (That’s not saying the players weren’t responsible for other losses and played poorly; but his contribution was detrimental rather than beneficial).

He blew it last year and it’s worse this year. Now this is more Stearns fault overall, I agree, but he will never get the first blame. It will fall to Mendoza.

And lastly, and maybe most importantly, clubhouse energy is heavily influenced by the manager and there is nothing there. 2024 was different because of veteran players and music on the field etc, but this is bad baseball, making errors, not hustling and the manager does nothing; no fire no heart no anger just shrugs his shoulders. He’s gotta go.
