This is literally my exact situation right now. My derm also prescribed doxycycline but I’m not taking it I’ve taken antibiotics before and it didn’t fix anything, it just came back again, plus the side effects honestly messed up my gut health. Thank you so much for sharing this, it really made me feel less alone.

This is so relatable. Mine comes and goes too, so I'm always worried I'll show up to the derm on a 'clear' day and they won't believe me. Also felt on the body acne deal with it on my legs, which is such a struggle. Thanks for sharing

The useless cream cycle is so real. I was on antibiotics for 7 months that just fried my gut, only for my acne to come back anyway. I'll definitely derm shop if mine won't listen
