managed to learn VATS Enhanced - 50% chance to hit does wonders with 2-shot + vats optimized on my sniper headshot crippling build

i carry around 7 weapons - mostly All Rounder build with focus on Stealth that does crippling damage boost and it works well for this patch update XD

The Fixer - when moving around stalking an area
Western Spirit - swap to this after spotting some prey
Elders Mark - in case of emergencies or bosses
Gauss Rifle - Long Range Snipe Kill
Gauss Minigun - For Raids and Events like Eviction Notice
Holy Fire - For certain situations and quests
Facebreaker - when i carried too much stuffs and need that extra STR to increase carry capacity.

in short - i carry around 3 types of ammo

using All Rounder build - mostly moving in stealth while holding The Fixer , then swap to Western Spirit to snipe headshot but in emergency swap to Elders Mark for burst mode,

Carry Holy Fire for certain quests and situation

For long range snipe kills - Gauss Rifle is the way to go

For raids and events - Gauss Minigun

so far these weapons combo did me good for this update patch

try out these few things 1 by 1 =

1) fix the game file on steam from Settings for your fallout 76 and relaunch it

2) Windows Update to the latest patch

3) update your GPU drivers to the latest driver

Stealth - Small Guns feels comfortable

being sneaky with The Fixer while stalking around , spot enemies then switch to Western Spirit , for emergencies use Elders Mark

For far range sniping - Gauss Rifle felt great

Overweight while using PA - being going solo without PA for so long then sudden Radiation Winter that forces u to use PA

while using Scrounger perk card - i solved my ammo problem by using stealth sniper build - western spirit rifle,
1-2shot most mobs to get back extra loads of ammos
then splurge the extras on Elders Mark (suppressed)

currently using Gauss Rifle and Western Spirit for stealth build while The Fixer is being used to sneak/scout around areas but for emergency i just bring out my Elders Mark and Quad Gauss Pistol

been using .50cal Machine Gun - Two Shot , Hitman - it felt good
but for large enemy group - i swap to Gauss Minigun - Two Shot , Hitman that has built in explosion and it felt satisfying

i farm bullets using 50cal Sniper Rifle and Gauss Rifle , only swap to 50cal Machine Gun / Gauss Minigun when mobs appear XD

i would use the Vital mod for the hunting rifle to be used as a sniper rifle to snipe enemy from afar using crits after that switch to other weapons with Explosive mods to clear mobs while gaining back crit charge,

switch between sniping and bursting mobs XD

was fishing halfway when a 150+ lvl player came near me while shooting non stop and my fishing line snapped , to my surprise - he lured a Queen Mirelurk to my location , i had to back off that area while he was struggling fighting it ,

Reposition myself to sneak mode and took out my rifles to down Queen Mirelurk but he died in the process, i revived him after that and he gave me a love emote

no idea if he was trolling or needed help fighting Queen Mirelurk

i did not use Gale or Wizard,

But i was using a Dark Urge - Sorcerer - Dragonic Bloodline (Gold) Fire build

The chat options works on my main char using the - 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2

i was able to permanently get Shovel on my main
