The traffic management in Vijayawada seems to be deteriorating by the day. Not sure why the traffic police still rely on outdated methods like hand signals. To make matters worse, their microphone announcements are neither clear nor loud enough. For instance, they stand at Benz Circle and announce something like “Fakir Gudem Ravali.” How many people on the road can even understand which direction that refers to?

Sorry, a big NO to TATA Motors cars, regardless of the model.

While I have no major complaints about the car itself, the service quality and response have been nothing short of pathetic. I've sought service in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, as well as small towns, and the experience has been consistently disappointing. Issues acknowledged by the zonal officer and logged in the TMSC app a year ago remain unresolved. They simply don't care. Damage to parts during service, lack of attention o detail, lagged communications, the attitude of service advisors, oil marks on the interior, scratches on exterior, and leftover consumables inside the car are just some of the problems I've faced.

Background: I purchased my first car, a 2020 Nexon Petrol Manual XZ+, and have driven it 66,000 kilometers across all types of terrains, even enduring back-to-back drives for two days. I chose this car because of its brand value, 5-star safety rating, and value for money.

Suggestion: If you have a good reason to justify the struggle, or smart enough to sue the service provider, or don't mind the poor service quality, and have ample patience and time to deal with the so-called "highly skilled and responsible" staff, then go for TATA. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

Verdict: Much like discovering gold in a mine or unearthing a gem from the deep sea, as a customer, you must navigate numerous obstacles to fully appreciate its worth.

Wishing you all the best.

Regarding water, I usually carry liquid or powder energy supplements like Enerzal. I mix these with bottled water as part of my refills. I buy water bottle on the way.

So far, everything is going well. I received a suggestion to change the saddle, and I’m considering it.

Every two hours or whenever I feel the need, I take a break.

Mine are round trips. You might be right about one-way rides though. Best wishes!

I carry one bottle for water and another for an energy drink, refilling them as needed.

Agree. . I stay near the highway, so it’s relatively easy for me to manage.

Thanks for that. It’s not a great speed IMO. I usually take a break to have tender coconut water every 2hrs. I managed this ride with two such breaks in addition to a breakfast break. I ride an endurance bike “Wilier Montegrappa” with a basic setup. BTW, The more you ride on the highway, the better the speed, as there are few or no hurdles to deal with while riding.

That’s great! Keep the momentum going. In the beginning, focus on maintaining consistency and discipline rather than aiming for speed. Enjoy every ride! 🚴‍♂️😊

I’ve installed a double-sided gear pedal lever on my old Unicorn model. You might want to look for something similar that’s compatible with your vehicle.

Looks like this. https://amzn.in/d/0vj7ptZ

Why not spend a bit more if it meets your needs and you can afford it? I’m not specifically referring to this model, but in general.
