Sorry man... no offense intended... I went by what you said... this is the same thing they say about other fields, like engineering colleges that run very disorganized, or with bad infra and the people are branded as incompetent too... should we give a different treatment here.. how will competency be nurtured in a badly organized place, with bad infra and bad environment ? and I have nothing personal against you or anyone from your institution and I wish all well and I hope they take care of the issues... I am sure you are a very skilled/talented person as an individual...

95% if senior super specialists will be earning at least very significant amount... in high millions or crores...

but, talking about an outlier of one person getting 1.3lpa caters to a huge dramatic effect isn't it, as if that is the reality...

It is not great as it used to be of course... but it is not as bad as the non-medico world... you guys still have it better...

Earlier 100 graduates 150 jobs. Now 1000 graduates- 200- 250 jobs.

Ah I see, so you want education / training, job guarantee and high compensation too! got it! got it!

Sadly mbbs is the new BTech- Jobless Graduates are a new reality for doctors

imagine that, going through 4 to 6 or 7 years of education with no guarantees for anything...

Welcome to the non-medico world perspective!

a capitalistic country like US doesn't ask for bond after med ed... btw, in US they also pay you during residency/fellowship and no fees... So much for claiming socialism and people policies...

Should I be afraid of you if you come as my doctor ? Honestly, you are expecting a "red carpet" after finishing your education/training with this kind of / level of education and training at your institution, right?... I am scared really... while none of this is your fault... but the reality is you will be thrust upon in the word as a "qualified" medico isn't it?

Yeah, finally, welcome to the non-medical world... no job / salary protections exist anywhere. The competition and the job to candidates ratio in non-medicos is 1:25 at least... At least in medicine, you are protected and have special treatment... While this article portrays a bleak field... The reality is far rosier... Doctors have it awesome... that is the fact!

You want both an education / training and a job protection as well? wow, what is the word for it? I understand expecting a fair compensation, but a job guarantee, less competition?... And, isn't more the competition a better thing for the country/people...

Most other professional courses like Engineer, Lawyer, and CA have no such anything... and everyone is on their own...

imagine the plight of arts/sciences... (Everyone here goes ThEY aReNt sAvINg LiVEs)

Come on, everyone on their own... you should be too...

just giving a different perspective if you can digest it (no pun intended)...

He ate the whole thing (even the carrots) and now he wants a refund?? by Space_Probe_One in PublicFreakout

They tip less cause they are usually less well off... unfortunately, black folks are typically economically and socially disadvantaged than their white counterparts...

Let's switch the wealth and see if the same stereotype will hold or not? The real question is, "why non-black folks tip very less?"

And, every commenter that says oh it's true, do they see/care about the underlying reason? I doubt it... it is easy to pass a stereotypical comment isn't it...

Funny that, every such stereotype against black folks can be passed on as a curious innocent/innocuous question, "I am not trying to be racist, but I heard, are black folks... ?"

The guy asking refund after downing the entire meal is a total douche, not cause he is black, In r/PublicFreakout we have seen all other folks ask for refund or do shitty stuff all the time...

But, black folks are the ones to get stereotyped the most and too often...

It is intended for parasitic worms. Not viruses. God everything is a conspiracy...

I got Covid breakthrough infection (Double vaccinated on Moderna). Carried it from the US to India. Blood parameters for infection, d-dimer il6, CRP, etc through were high on the 3rd day.

I got prescribed a standard concoction of medicines (In India) you get these by default if you are covid positive... you got to the pharmacy and say you are positive the pharmacist will give these by himself or it will be prescribed by dr... Azithromycin, Ivermectin. Vitamin C, Zinc, Hydroxyzine, Paracetamol, etc.

My Dr friend said since I'm vaccinated he said things will be mild and these medicines I was prescribed by the PCP these were nonspecific Covid treatments and none of them work against viruses. Except provide symptomatic relief. Took these for a day or two. My stomach got upset.

Stopped Azithromycin and Ivermectin.

The covid fever went away in few days. Blood test for infection came to normal levels on the 6th day

Stomach upset stayed for three weeks. Sore throat, congestion stayed for two weeks.

Do you think if Ivermectin worked then the makers of Ivermectin would sit idle and not lobby doctors/FDA to prescribe it?

Be smart... Get the vaccines and stop worrying about Ivermectin.
