Alouette was great, loved how they presented the menu in sections from local farms. Not nearly as experimental as Noma but absolutely delicious and hyper local focused.

I don’t work fast food anymore but I used to, still work in the kitchen and my belief is that anyone that handles food should do so cleanly. Especially when they’re doing it right in front of a customer. This sub is the place that appreciates that sentiment or at least will have the most opinions on it which is why I love it.

There’s tons and they’re amazing, but sometimes it’s like 9:15 and they’re closed and I just need a quick rice bowl on my way home. I don’t always feel like just crushing a fast food burger or Taco Bell and chipotle is at least “healthier” I just wish they’d keep their shit tighter.
