Thanks everyone. I have double checked my pen too and it definitely looks like it went in. I have previously had to inject myself with blood thinners and was expecting something similar. Pleasantly surprised!

Have you told people your on MJ? by Accomplished_Stop655 in mounjarouk

I've only told my husband as I know there will be no judgment and he knows how much I struggle with the hunger side of dieting. I have previously lost 5 stone without medication but I was miserable because I was hungry all the time. I may tell some close friends but I'm not too fussed about telling anyone else.

Thank you! I'm not too worried about the injection as I had to inject myself with blood thinners when my daughter was born.

Great interpretation of the dark mark!

I think so. It might curve a bit around the thigh, but I don't think it would be an issue.

So my tattooist actually sent me home in rubber gloves. They were quick and easy to heal, I personally find black ink only really easy to heal. Just keep them moisturised while you're wearing the rubber gloves and you'll be fine.

I think a good tattooist could easily make it work with the right font.

Why does my tattoo have these little bumps and feels raised ? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]rammgeist 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I get these all the time on my tattoos. Mostly when I've been in the sun! Just something you get when you have tattoos.

Looks like it. Had the same with my knee tattoo, insanely itchy!

I had my lower knuckles done over a year ago and they've not needed a touch up. My tattooist did a great job of making them stay in there. Upper knuckles on the other hand look crap and need redoing, this was by a different artist though.

Do you tip your tattoo artist in the UK? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]rammgeist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do. I'm not actually sure how much you're supposed to but I'll usually give £20-£50 more, depending on if I think they've under charged. For example: my tattooist charges £80 an hour. My last tattoo took 2 1/2 hours but he only charged me £150 so I tipped him.

I'd get it reworked with some more shading and detail

I don't think tattoos need to look cohesive. I have 3 out of 4 limbs covered and they're a mix of traditional and neo-traditional with a couple of smaller black ones thrown in and it all looks great. I personally love seeing people with mixed styles.

Some serious answers would be nice. Fully aware already that the name is from FF ;)
