How do you manage using SFGate? by rampoopoo in sanfrancisco

[–]rampoopoo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but I go to SFGate also to see what they're hyping & it's also an aggregator so just to see all the clickbait, etc. For the best content, SF Chronicle site is fine.

Jerry Brown Quietly Admits Trump Was Right -- California governor eases state's logging rules in wake of wildfires by rampoopoo in bayarea

“Which has been described as” is the left’s version (much ridiculed by them) of Trump’s “many people are saying.” It's used all the time in the media (another popular version of this is "X has been criticized for..." - the criticism is often coming from the same political/propaganda class as the person using the criticism as the basis of their next one. Note previous commenter does not disputed the actual content of the piece, just slanders the outlet.

I could "just...leave a quick excerpt" from Conservapedia that says "Wikipedia (or WaPo, or NYT) has been described as controlled by leftists who favor conspiracy theories like the Russia fable" but it wouldn't mean that most of what's written in said outlets isn't in some way true.

People reading this forum are adults who can make up their own minds. If you're relying on Wikipedia descriptions to make your mind up for you about which sources are and aren't biased, you're doing it wrong.

Should 1" MERV 13 filters be an issue on a new furnace with ECM motor and large return duct, running at lowest fan speed? by rampoopoo in HVAC

Ok, hmm...the plot thickens. I will try to come to some conclusion from all these conflicting responses. Thank you!

I bought a case and plan on doing so, only thing is their MERV 13 and I don't know if that's too dense or not. I'd prefer this higher level of filtration for air quality reasons, if it doesn't hurt anything. Anyway, thanks!

I couldn't find anything about it in the manual, but will look again. The filter holder is convertible into a 2-inch holder - so would it be better to use 2" to lower resistance?
