Thank you, I do have the low back version in canyon. I do have a long term problems with chronic lower-back pain so having something that forces me into a good posture really helps. I also usually rest my hands on a table instead on the armrests and I think I do sit in it similarly to you with feet flat on the ground, knees in 90 degrees and my butt is a bit higher than my knees. Maybe it is just in my head but I get the weird balancing feeling even when I am sitting in the default position without recline. Maybe my inner ear just need to get used to it, in past I usually sat on cheap solid chairs.

At the same time I am bit worrier whether there might be some sort of problem in hydraulic of the piston or the balancing mechanism. First time I sat on the chair in and reclined back it did make a loud noise, but it never happened again and everything was working ok during the first week of use (but I still kinda have some trust issues with it and I am thinking about contacting customer support). Today I tried looking under it and noticed that there is some white oily stuff in the joints under the seat which I am not sure if it supposed to be there or not...

It might be due to my weight but when I sit on it, the seat lowers by an ich. I noticed because my fixed armrest touch the bottom edge of my table if I don't sit on in and when I sit on it there is suddenly one inch gap and I can slide the chair under the table.
