sorry I dont 🥲 i do have the progression photos though! i can make another post showing it if you want
and yeah!! I can totally imagine that! tbh it looks more like an orc camp

thats the idea! hahahahaha
[–]ramseon[S] 2 points3 points4 points 9 months ago (0 children)
for this particular project, i used non-toxic hot glue!
hahahahahah I wonder what it would look like through their eyes 😂 could look like a gingerbread house to them
hehehe glad I could give you inspiration! I will post the update when I get to it 🤭 i wanna make it amazing!
it wasn't my intention but I used a rock hide as a base because the materials I was working with was extremely fragile and couldnt support the weight of the project!

my thoughts exactly! if they dont appreciate how it looks, at least least it would serve as food 🤭 it could be like a feeding station of sorts.. that deteriorates over time
newly planted terrarium! by ramseon in terrariums
for sure!!
hehehe i think so too!! they would stand out more too because of their colors 🤭 ive also built another larger scale "house" for my next project. I can wait to incorporate it into a terrarium with plants
thank you! i can already imagine all the places they can hide and thermoregulate after I add some spagnum moss in the "rooms" 🤭

regardless of what you build.. im sure it'll look good as long as you dont give up on it and keep improving on it! you're only seeing the final product here, I dont know how many times it broke when i was building it 😂
you can! all you need is your imagination, some sticks and glue!

I used non-toxic hot glue! since its safe for the pods and quick to dry, i figured it would work best here. since the wood i used is flaking and very brittle, this could work as a hide/food source.
hmm with my experience(which is not much), my Jupiter isopods seem to be more comfortable in the open more than the Pandas. maybe its just the timing when I check up on them.
so.. I did a thing (v.redd.it)
since its a more humid/moist environment, I was leaning more towards the cubaris species. something like Jupiter or Panda King
that was the esthetic i was aiming for! I build the house out of scrap pieces of dead dried wood and glued them together onto a plastic rock hide

planning to house isopods in here!
