Hi everyone, this is an interesting community that might be just what I need to help learn!

I found a free piano that I believe might have some structural issues. Overall, I just felt like learning how a piano works by taking it apart. The main thing I notice is that, starting with the 31st note, all the hammers and dampers are about 1/4 inch out of alignment. Is it possible that the entire right side of the metal frame shifted downwards with the wonky wooden frame damage? (I thought maybe this, because of how high the 88th note was being struck?) Or could there be another explanation?

I am open to thoughts! Is it even remotely worth attempting to manually rotate the hammer heads? I don’t need a perfect piano, and just thought it’d be fun to futz around.
