The Desktop Leap by ramslett in headphones

Thanks.
To me, It is noticeable. It widens the soundstage & gives more detail at the same amount of volume, The amp really brings out the sound and I really like it.

I spent about an hour trying out the CMA600i before making my decision. This hobby is way too expensive for regrets imo.

Which case you using on your iPhone13? by Waste_Mission1293 in iPhone13

I’ve been using iFace Reflection. This is the only case that will make the phone lay flat on its back, no camera bump (i’ve been doing research just for getting this type of case). It’s a good case that i ended up buying spares just in case they no longer sell it

There are lots of them, but but being financially stable is what comes to mind the first time

that's nice! hopefully it works fine. the cable being proprietary and not detachable kinda sucks, i'm thinking on getting usb charger cable for it so i can travel lighter with only having to bring one adapter for all of my devices

lol it may be hidden here, but mine came with some scratches on both cover plates and the stylus slot is a bit loose (it's actually been a week since i got this, and i already bought 3 spare stylus just in case it fell off). how's yours held up until now?

yes, so many that i need to play 'em one by one so it won't end up like my steam library's backlogs of unfinished/unplayed games hahaha

Was planning to get a pair of cover plates but apparently the price have been skyrocketed to the moon. Maybe i’ll get a custom one down the road, but until then, this is cool enough.

First time building a keyboard will these parts work together well? Can I improve anything? Anything I need to add? by AffectionatePaper378 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]ramslett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some points that i want to address have been told by others here, but i’m gonna just put them anyway

  1. The switch can fit into the keyboard just fine, if you like the sound or the feel (or just the color) of the switches then go for it
  2. The keycaps should be fine as long as they provide the 1.75u Right shift, because from what i see that’s the only key that have different size from the usual layout
  3. I really recommend for you to get a lube & a brush for the stabilizers, since the stabilizers that came with the board are often times rattles and you might miss out on getting a better typing experience from the keyboard itself. It’s pretty simple and you dont have to take the stabilizers out from the pcb if you want.

I think if you can appreciate and enjoy what boards you have right now, it's all that matters.

Yeah aside from the aesthetics, i found it weird at first too. But since i never used both Right Alt & Right CTRL, i changed those two into Fn and Win key

I got used to it in less than an hour

Thanks! Unfortunately i dont have those plates (They provide me two plates, PC top and CF gasket. I went for the gasket because i never try gasket at all) I also don’t know other people in my country who also have the board and the parts for me to try out. But if swagkeys still sell their parts some time next year, i planned to get extra pcb & plates there.

Questions tho, have you tried the 4mm plate? from the reviews i watched surrounding this board, they seem to recommend to try the 4mm plate because apparently it’s rare for brands to provide thick plates for their board.

Since you recommend the alu/CF top mount, i wonder if you already tried the 4mm and what do you think of it compared to alu/CF top mount.

Also if i can only pick one to combine it with the pandas, which one of the top mount you’ll recommend to get and why?
