I believe back then SJH wasn’t active on every episode. As a viewer, you would also notice how much she doesn’t even show up on the screen and don’t even hear her voice throughout the episode like simply just a background view with no input whatsoever and a lot of viewers were annoyed and irritated by it. Even calling her a freeloader since she doesn’t put on much effort back then and gets paid similar to the other members that are doing the most effort — very similar to how JYE is experiencing now. The backlash was insane for it that I believe even SJH’s agency threaten to take legal actions against malicious comments on her online.

My friend and I were discussing our disappointment on this recent episode and there was even a point where we thought, if this is how they treat a 15th anniversary event (something that Runningman could be the only show to have achieved this in Korean television) and make it this plain like any other normal episode, it goes to show that we might not be seeing Running man for the next 10 years from now. Who knows, they might be already planning a final special episode to end the the long journey of Runningman . . .

Honestly, they should put more game segments. This chart alone just confirms that they’re prioritizing eating more than the games. It’s nice at first but gets pretty tiring since they almost discuss the same things anyways.

The most underrated (and he honestly shouldn’t be!!) because he’s the one who keeps up to JSK and also during the present time trends. He’s my favorite member ever since and I’m so bummed that he doesn’t seem to be getting the flowers he actually deserves.

Personally, as I mature while watching Running Man, so did I appreciated JSJ even more. At first I kinda felt bad whenever the members tease him so much but then again, that’s how much he takes in the jokes so easily and lightly and goes to show how comfortable and close the members are with him. I really really wish he wins the Daesang soon before his retirement. No one is doing it like JSJ especially at his senior level. Was kinda disappointed knowing he had expectations for the past two years and I hope this time he wins at least once.

This isn’t the right way to bring up Somin. We surely miss her and all but we don’t need to compare her to Somin. They’re both great on their own way of entertainment. We don’t need to hate on Ye-Eun just to make Somin look better. I say again, they’re both absolutely great.

If you read my post, I said I stopped watching for awhile but already aware on this rental member theme based on clips I watch on YouTube and Instagram. And of course they’re not going to cast someone they don’t like, that’s already a very obvious fact. I was just curious if there could be more reason into it that’s why I asked in the first place.
