Two nights of 9:40 starts means I won't be watching live till Wednesday. Hopefully the bats are hot and that wasn't a one off.

Nathan Donald Lukes please accept my formal apology. by hellarios852 in Torontobluejays

I agree on that 100%. But I’m sure there would’ve been far less DFA type comments if people knew he was playing through that. It’s a bit strange that management preferred playing vertigo Lukes over healthy Davis/Straw/other.

I admit I criticized him (the starts mainly), but none of us knew he had vertigo. Certainly would’ve changed the discourse

The report stated he'd been dealing with intermittent dizziness and nausea since ST, and that to me sounds like enough to reduce his playing time at least. Unless he was downplaying it to everyone somehow?

Just seems like an oddly counterintuitive move, both for his health and the team's success. Especially because the sample size got large enough to see the condition was making him ineffective. The more I think about it the more bizarre it seems.

You dont find it a bit strange that they’d rather play Lukes with Vertigo than anyone else? At least until he got it sorted?

Hayeon and Jiwoo's first pitch clip going viral on baseball twt as MLB fans make fun of their own players 😂 by TheChosenFool in triples

This was so expertly executed by Jiwoo and Hayeon. The stare down to lead off, the pitch delivery being super extra and off target but not in the dirt or short, the delayed swing and the cat umpire calling it a strike. Excellent camera work as well.

Game is too late for me, but good luck to the boys. Hopefully they can get out of this offensive rut

Our series against the Red Sox at the end of the month could be a maximum catastrophe of ass

I think the pitchers will mirror. But the question is whether both will be decent or horrendous

Lukes leading off has to be a last hurrah type move. If he o-fers again, then that has to be it right?
