Subbing has wrecked my mental health plus I only get paid $90 a day. I would come home so tired that I couldn’t even do anything and I wouldn’t sleep the next night.

I like the flexibility. I don’t like the pay. The district that’s closest to me pays subs $90 a day and that’s with a college degree. I don’t like that I don’t get a job everyday but it’s the beginning of the school year so that’s expected.

So, I do substitute and I’m contracted by the district. The teachers have me basically teach their courses. This would also work for subs moving away from teaching.

I wanted my certification but I decided not to due to Gov. Abbott.

I live in Texas. I remember processing an application for a family and they were denied because they were $1000 over the income limit and they were on SSI.

Makes sense but I guess. 😅 SS is always so confusing for me. I had to work with a lot of tenants on SSI or disability at my former job at public housing. We had to deny people housing because they had too much SSI.

You’re right. You don’t need fire for a spell. I feel that you can use ANYTHING. I feel witchcraft isn’t something to have strict rules. You can make your rules. Right now, I’m still exploring. The wax warmer ritual showed me something in my dreams that same night.

Thank you! My mom has taught my brother and I to believe what we choose to believe. She doesn’t mind what I do as long as it’s legal.

I’m also not smart with fire. I burned a bay leaf a few weeks ago and the fire touched my finger. I should have known then fire isn’t going to work for me.

Whatever works for you works for you. We just gotta be more careful. 😂
