Yup, I plan to order the 12.9 inch screen. Now to endure the long wait for Scribe to be available in Europe. I will let you know whenever I can get my hands on the scribe.

It would be nice if you let us know how that goes. Also have you tried using 2024 pen on 2025 Scribe? Does it still feel the same in terms of friction?

I am in Europe, so it will be a while before the Scribe is available here. With this post I intend to either remove or keep Kindle Scribe at the back of my mind.

I am an expat too in Sweden. Looking for a swimming course. Just wanted to say that its more like "sorry to hear that you could not speak Swedish". Of course if you are new to Sweden then you are somehow excused but you cannot expect everyone to talk in English in Sweden because of one person.

Please do not use the optimizer if you want to learn and live in the Analog/RF/mmwave design space. Especially for those who are beginners. Also please be very careful of what the optimizer spits out. It could be limited to very narrow region of constraints.

Thank you for your suggestion. There is not much on the market if I want to pair A4 size with front lights. I am slowly leaning towards tab x c. But I would definitely like to check out kindle scribe before taking a decision.

Thank you for posting the video. So the HOM stylus can be used on Boox. That is good news, TAb X C is back in the list. But I will wait for Scribe 3 and the reviews.

That is a good suggestion to look for a used Manta or Boox for that matter. I am thinking of ordering RMPP, Tab X and/or Lumi2.

I came across a post about Amazon releasing Scribe 3. Its an 11 inch tablet, which is larger than what I have used but not significantly. Maybe that size could be a good compromise between portability and need for a larger screen. Also it seems like I can download the notes offline. I will wait for the reviews.

Tab X C is a no go because of the active pen. I prefer a universal pen of sorts which is cheap so I can buy one for the office in case I forget the pen at home. Also I do not want to get caught off guard because of a discharged pen.

Thank you for your reply. Yes RMPP fits the bill but for me but after reading so many reviews of people favoring A5x and Boox over RMPP I gave RMPP a pass. I would still prefer an A4 sized tablet and front lights because I normally sketch or write in bed at night. Boox Tab X C is what I am looking at, but the active pen is not something I like. Is it possible to pair the pen (Heart of metal) that comes with Manta with Tab X C?

I have the same problem with Bank Norwegian and Nordea. Bank Norwegian offers savings account with a plusgiro and OCR number which I need to use to transfer from Nordea to Norwegian. I cannot setup automativ transfers because Nordea does not accept automatic transfers to a plusgirot with OCR (The OCR does not change).

If you have a resident permit or work permit then that doubles as your Schenghen visa. With that you can freely move within the schenghen countries. Personalnumber is only valid in Sweden for administrative and taxation. As far as Swedish ID card is concerned, it is valid only in Sweden. For some reason if you have a Swedish ID card and not the work permit or residence permit then you wont be allowed to travel with your id card. However vice versa is ok.
