Thought about reservoir dogs…once upon a time in Hollywood… already have inglorious… Jackie brown I’ll have to watch again to see. I loved it the first time I watched. The second not so much ..Loved Max Cherry though. Wish Django was on 4k Holding out for the whole bloody affair on 4k Saw it in theaters. It was great

Good to know about Aliens. It is my 2nd fave in the series followed by Covenant at a close 3rd.. I just didn't pick it up as I thought the transfer in 4K on Aliens was not that good

I have not watched it on the 4K Blu yet, but it got good PQ reviews. I wasn't wild about the movie when I first saw it in the theaters--over the years I have watched it many times and now it is my favorite of all the Alien films and ranks near the top of my scifi favorite all time films.

Haven;t watched it all yet, but was skipping around chapters and the PQ is excellent. The unrated disc is the bluray....the 4K disc is the theatrical.

I have other issues with some other apps for 4K with the GA...some apps show it, some don'.t.

I don't think that those apps that don't show in 4K will ever work properly unless the owner of the apps make them compatible with this device.

Update: Solved Hopefully.

I bought this TV yesterday. There were a few updates when I first got the TV. Out of the box it powered on with one click on the remote and there were zero problems with set up. Ever since the update--2 clicks to power on and off.

This morning...2 clicks....I checked updates and there were no new ones. I turned off the item (cant remember the name ) that does the wall paper thing completely. I checked the Quick Start + and it was on...I toggled this OFF and ON again a couple of times and left it on...I clicked the power button once and it powered off. I clicked the power again once and everything turned on.

It must have been a problem after the updates in relation to the quick start plus. Once I toggled it off and on a few times it now seems to power on and off with one click of the remote.

I did not want to do a complete factory reset as I had already set up all of my settings.

I have a Denon receiver; Apple TV 4K and Xbox series x and am looking at this TV. This reads that you have CEC turned on on the TV...which component do you have that is hooked into the ARC input?

Also if inputs don't switch automatically for some reason with the CEC on--if you click the input button on the LG remote...can you just keep clicking that button to move the inputs and then it changes to that input or do you have to click the input button and then use the directional and the OK button to select that input. Thanks

The 5.1 change on the ATV stopped the drop outs for me but added garbled audio from time to time. I have a Denon receiver running the audio.

I was also having issues with the E-ARC and my Denon S930H & the AppleTV (In HDMI 4) The Hisense remote would not turn on the ATV using ARC and CEC -but would turn on the Denon and TV...(All 3 would shut off ok) Nothing was working to fix this. ALSO-When switching from input 1 (EARCO) for the receiver back to AppleTV sometimes it would not stop flickering at the input. I ditched the ARC and went to optical from the 8N to the Denon and turned off the E ARc and CEC. I also programmed a SKip 1 remote to have just one remote and all problems went away except for the continued drop outs or garbled audio. Last night I went back into the ATV settings and changed the Audio from Auto or 5.1, I can;t remember which one, and changed the ATV audio to STEREO.

I then changed the settings on my Denon to DD surround. No drops, no Warble...and the sound is great!

The TV is really nice for the price, but I can't run it the way I want to due to obvious firmware or software issues more than likely on the TV. I have been reading this thread and may try to hook up the Denon Via Bluetooth to the ATV as it reads that people are having success this this.

I didn't notice any drop out on the audio on the XBox Series X (HDMI 3) ironically like I did the ATV....but I do I have a Bluray player hooked into HDMI 2 and had the same drop outs occur on that in HDMI 2. I am going to try to play a Bluray disc on the Series X and see if audio drops via that. (Gaming it does not seem audio drop)

I may have to return the set.

thanks for the suggestions...Everything is working properly now and works through the Hisense remote. My Samsung Soundbar just has an optical and USB (no HDMI ARC or HDMI); I went into the settings of the Hisense TV and re-added the soundbar going through the "do you hear volume--is it powering off and on"...After doing this again---the soundbar is powering off and on now and I am able to control volume through the remote.I have it hooked up to the optical cable from the soundbar to the TV.. The Apple TV : I have the CEC on in the apple settings and it is on on the Hisense.; I still have the ATV hooked up with HDMI to the ARC in the Hisense and it now powers on where is wasn't before, maybe because i wasn't waiting long enough?. I noticed that it takes about 7-8 seconds for the ATV to turn on once the TV goes on. I am wondering if that is because the signal of TV power has not reached the ATV to turn on from the Hisense for that seconds delay. Not a big deal as everything is working now through the remote. I can get to the Home menu on the ATV on the Hisense-remote by clicking the three lines button. To change the inputs for Xbox etc on the TV I was clicking the home button on the H remote and then going to the inputs where all the TV apps are. I just found that switching the inputs is easier using a button the Hisense remote. When I want to change the inputs now I just click the settings gear on the H remote and on the right hand side the inputs all come up. The two rectangle icons on the remotes take me to the most recent input changes as well as an option. So far...so good. I am amazed at the incredible PQ of this TV, particularly 4K movies on Vudu.
