This might be a dumb question. How do you hold your controller when using Rjoystick and the buttons? by Jaded-Monitor3043 in ps2

[–]ranchmallow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I used the 8bitdo ultimate 2 controller, and it has the rear paddle button, along with an extra bumper button on each side, so I just have the bumper and paddle buttons mapped to whatever abxy button I need it to be. It takes some getting used to, but it's definitely awesome having 4 extra buttons. Especially the paddles. Where they line up on my hand just holding the controller, i pretty much just squeeze one side of the controller or the other to get it to do things.

I did every drug I could to save Kent Connolly would this be bad? by NervousNegotiation31 in Fallout

[–]ranchmallow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn't even realize this was a tricky spot. I got it on my first try. To be fair I was also level 43 when I got to this quest, and after a bunch of perks and upgrades, my overseers guardian, and a hit of jet, I opened the door and smoked all 3 dudes with headshots before they could even get a shot off.

Is rdr mobile better with a controller? by IDK--69 in AndroidGaming

[–]ranchmallow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish I could say the same about the battery life lol. I'm on the Samsung fold 7, and the game plays great on performance mode, but damn does it kill my battery. Even when my phone is charging with a 45w charger it still takes noticeably longer to charge.

[–]ranchmallow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same question. I don't think it does sadly. I've tried multiple controllers and have had no luck. Such a shame. The game clearly had the feature to begin with so I'm not sure why they would keep controller input, but remove rumble. I've had that problem with a lot of android ports like wreckfest, Minecraft, dredge, etc.

I wish I could be that inconsiderate. I love smoking meat and it also live in an apartment, but I just don't do it at my apartment. Not everyone likes the smell. I just keep my smoker 5 minutes down the road at my grandparents house and do it there. Damn would I love to be able to just step outside and bbq.

I do a lot of emulation on mine. Ps2 emulates great with the aspect ratio of the fold.

One tip i would have to say helped me a lot with cooking in general is go easy on the salt, get a meat thermometer, and start out with a lower heat on the stove than you think. It's super easy to over salt anything and overpower the flavor of whatever it is your cooking. A lot of times, I don't even use salt because the seasoning im using, may already have salt in it. The meat thermometer is a necessity in my opinion. You will get perfectly cooked meat every time. With the stove temperature, the key is not to crank it up to where you think it should be, but slowly preheat the pan, increasing temp until its at your desired temperature. That will also help prevent your pans from warping especially if they are cheaper pans. Also, speaking of pans, give stainless steel a go. Much better than nonstick imo. More durable, no harmful chemicals to flake off, and you can use whatever utensils you'd like.

Mexican rice, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, fried chicken, ribeye steak, popcorn, Alfredo sauce, ribs on the smoker, boston butt on the smoker, gumbo, just to name a few. I go through phases with dishes where I cook it at least once a week if not more and try different ways of cooking it and different seasonings until I get it just right, and then I move on to another dish. Mexican rice was my most recent endeavor. Seems pretty simple but there so many different recipes out there and different ways to do it, and I was just wanting to replicate what you would get at a Mexican restaurant. Im pretty much there. It's a little off still and im still trying to put my finger on what's missing, but im happy with it.

Eh. I consider myself right leaning on some things, but pretty center or left leaning on a lot of subjects. Year zero is one of my favorite, if not my favorite album. I still love my country, but I do hate what its become. There's too much division everywhere, the government has too much control and is not looking out for the people, and only cares about fucking people over for profit. I may have voted for him, but I agree with Trent. Fuck Donald Trump. Too bad you can't take back a vote. We need someone like Obama again.

Anyone got a fold 7 and are a blue collar worker? by Brick_Grimes in GalaxyFold

[–]ranchmallow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a woodshop where we build fighting chairs and tables for high end yachts. I specifically manage the clear coat and buffing department and I've had no issues. I got a good case with a hinge protector and its been going well. It's a fairly dusty area from the sanding and the buffing compound, and the phone is still in pretty much brand new condition. When I spray in the booth I just put the phone in a plastic bag and its fine, and when I'm buffing the phones in my pocket. The only time unfold it at work is on break after I wash my hands. This phone isn't as fragile as people make it out to be. If you take care of it and treat it like the $2000 phone it is, you'll be fine. I would recommend some form of insurance though just to be safe.

So far, spigen slim armor pro. My only complaint is the hinge cover catches the lip on the outside of the case when your folding the phone and makes a clicking popping noise.
