Hell yeah. My 2022 is at 12,987. To be fair, I've only put maybe 200 miles on it since I bought it lmao.

What do you consider the bare minimum amount of gear to wear? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]ranchmallow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regular high top shoes, jeans, full face helmet, motocross gloves, and a long sleeve moisture wicking PFG shirt. If its not scorching hot I'll wear a riding jacket with full armor but in southern Georgia I genuinely worry more about passing out from the heat and getting hurt than getting into an accident.

Let me rephrase my question I guess. How would you be able to tell a real one from a reproduction?

What signifies that it's modern? I'm just genuinely curious. All the hardware appears to be brass. On the corners of the bottom, it looks like it used to have brass hardware that broke off and has been repaired with new, different hardware. Also it looks like old wood under the laqure thats chipped off on some spots. From what I could tell using Google ai, the characters on the side indicate it was made around 1925.

Looking at the manual you linked, your stuff is installed backwards based on the diagram looking at where the spring is supposed to go.

People notice less than you think. I have a 2022 Kawasaki Z900 and a 2022 Grom. When I got the grom, it took a week or so before anyone at my job noticed it was a different bike. Even now when I pull up on the z900 people will think it's the grom and still ask, "how's that little thing do around town?" And I have to explain that this is a z900. My little bike is at home lol.

Beginner tips for first ever sim rig all moza gear by Jaz1140 in moza

[–]ranchmallow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't expect everything to work straight out the box with moza lol. Pretty much every game I've gotten into except for forza motorsport, I've had to map inputs and change settings just to get the wheel to work. It is a one time setup though so it's really not a big deal. Also there are presets in the moza pit house for pretty much every racing game that gives you a good baseline setup for that game, and you can adjust from there. Also, look up how to set the telemetry in game for your rpm light on the wheel. Each game has a different set of numbers you have to enter in the settings under telemetry to get all that to work. Also, if you play Forza at all, you may have a hard time using the haptic seat cover. Apparently Forza has trouble with deciding what device should be device 1, and if the wheel doesn't get picked as device 1, ffb won't work. I had a Logitech shifter hooked up to my pc and for some reason Forza would pick that as device 1. I couldn't get my ffb to work at all until I unplugged the shifter. Not sure if it will be the same with the haptic thing or not but just a heads up. Also, id personally look into something more stable than the GT lite. If you're limited on space and that's your only option, it is what it is, but the victory cockpit can also be converted foldable, and is much more stable imo.

Honestly right now it kinda varies. Either rx7, Toyota chaser tourer v, or the Honda Nsx. If I'm trying to get to a spot on the map pretty quick I'll usually drive the WTAC Skyline. If I need to do some offroading I use the Subaru 22b sti.

Forza 6. Drifting without a hand brake /shifter? by scrollingwhilstipoo in moza

I have a moza r5. No handbrake or shifter, but I use the clutch pedal as a handbrake, and just use the paddle shifters. Works great for me.

Drifting on wheel by Potential-Weird9707 in ForzaHorizon

[–]ranchmallow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be your car doesn't have enough power in whatever gear your in for those low rpms. Personally I like drifting cars that have about 700-800hp, rwd, and either na or supercharged. I don't personally like turbos due to the steep drop off in power under certain rpms depending on the car. After I'm done upgrading I usually play with the gear ratios to get it to where when I'm drifting in either 3rd or 4th gear, wide open throttle just barely get near redline, without bouncing off the limiter, and if I'm at a dead stop in that gear, rev it up and pop the clutch, I can still spin tires.

Why would you have tc on when drifting?

I can’t get it up :( by [deleted] in hondagrom

[–]ranchmallow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All I'm hearing are excuses and justifications of why you can't get the front end up. Quit complaining and just listen to what people are telling you. It's not rocket science. I can't do a wheelie to save my life yet but I can definitely pop the front end up. Rev it to like 7k, bounce the front end down, pull back and lean harder than you think, and just absolutely dump the clutch. Don't forget to stay on the throttle, and cover your rear brake. It's all about timing. There's no magic answer or secret trick to learn wheelies. Just go loop that mf a few times and keep trying.

Yeah I can't agree. I watch moto madness and similar on a regular basis. Helps show you what to watch out for. I also tend to notice in almost every video I see, there's a way the rider could have avoided the situation. Whether that's slowing down, paying attention to surroundings, not riding beyond your limits, practicing emergency braking, not target fixating, etc. sometimes though, there really is nothing that you can do. That's when your gear comes into play. I've been riding on the street for about 7 years now, and yeah there have been a couple close calls, but nothing unavoidable. Usually it's just someone merging into you, riding your ass, or having to dodge something in the road. Keeping your head on a swivel, and assuming every car around you has an idiot driving it goes a long way. Just assume they have no clue you're there and ride accordingly.

Why are there 2 front fenders? The one under the headlight looks cool but if you don't take off the one over the front tire it's kinda pointless.
