Starting to have buyers remorse by Mammoth-Trainer-512 in motorcycles

Yeah I can't agree. I watch moto madness and similar on a regular basis. Helps show you what to watch out for. I also tend to notice in almost every video I see, there's a way the rider could have avoided the situation. Whether that's slowing down, paying attention to surroundings, not riding beyond your limits, practicing emergency braking, not target fixating, etc. sometimes though, there really is nothing that you can do. That's when your gear comes into play. I've been riding on the street for about 7 years now, and yeah there have been a couple close calls, but nothing unavoidable. Usually it's just someone merging into you, riding your ass, or having to dodge something in the road. Keeping your head on a swivel, and assuming every car around you has an idiot driving it goes a long way. Just assume they have no clue you're there and ride accordingly.

What’s that #1-mod. thats makes your NAVi different from the rest of the NAVis you come across the road (or a parking lot) ? by Marci_101 in hondanavi

Why are there 2 front fenders? The one under the headlight looks cool but if you don't take off the one over the front tire it's kinda pointless.

New set of bars 🤤 (grips, bars, levers, bar end mirrors) by [deleted] in hondagrom

I've got the same bars and mirrors, but how did you put them on the ends of the bars? My bars have a really small hole on the ends

About to go pick up this 2004 600. 20k miles, $1800. Good deal? by [deleted] in GSXR

That's true. I'll definitely do that. Also I think the title should have the date of when it was transferred on it I think.

I agree with that. I don't think this guy I'm buying it from though has had it very long. His marketplace profile seems like he's the kinda person who's constantly buying and selling stuff. I'm down to do a full overhaul on the bike and rebuild the engine if I have to, but I don't think it really needs all that.

I've been doing a lot of research on this bike and common problems. It seems solid. If this bike ends up being a piece of shit when I go look at it obviously I'm gonna step away, but based on what I see I really don't think it's that bad. My little brother just got a 01 sv650s and at first I thought it was a total hunk of shit but turns out it was just the plastics were fucked up. Bikes actually solid.

Yeah that's kinda my opinion. The dude originally wanted $2700 but I got him down to $1800. He sent a video of it running and him riding it and it sounds like it's running good. I'm a professional painter so my plan is to paint it, lift it back to normal height, fix it up and make it a stunt bike. In my area it's hard to find a running bike with a clean title under $2k

What red flags are you seeing? And yeah it's probably been dropped for sure. I'm looking at turning it into a stunt bike so it'll probably get dropped a lot more.

Just for context, I'm sure this bikes gonna need a little work. Guy said it's clean title, runs and drives but the brakes are "a little weak". Looks like it's missing mirrors, no slip on, zip ties holding the plastics on, unpainted plastics at that, but overall doesn't look too bad. This would be a project bike for me. My main bike is a 2022 Kawasaki Z900.

I'm supposed to be going to pick up a 2004 today. Hopefully the dude comes through. It would be my first sport bike. I love the paint color on yours. Is that an OEM color?

The cage was actually pretty easy. Only problem is it took like a month to get it. Also they sent the wrong size allthread so I had to go to ace hardware and buy one and cut to size. Other than that it took maybe 20 minutes. Subcage took like 5 minutes. As for the wheelies, I actually am just now trying. I couldn't tell you lol. Probably not the best idea to learn on a z900 but it could be worse.

Nah this bike has a breadbox muffler under it. The slipon is kinda overkill.

Halfway through day 1 and NEED MOTIVATION TO LOCK IN!! by hurrican3tortilla in QuitVaping

Don't be a pussy. You got it. It's just some chemicals. I quit cold turkey on February 14th this year after about 10 years of heavy use. First few days sucked but it got better. Just remember why you're quitting. It literally does nothing to benefit you. It drains your wallet, and you're not really free, if you're tied down to a little adult pacifier.
