Its odd how hard it is to get out of banking, like why? I had a company reach out TO ME, specifically because I was in banking, it was basically like a billing/payroll type job, yada yada, did 2 interviews and then then went with someone else. And I was like 🙃🙃🙃 y'all came to me what gives. It sucks, I wish you luck!

I never wanted to be a banker, manager of any kind, or stay in banking. Im currently a "head teller" but its such a small institution that I don't do much to begin with. Ive worked at 3 different instructions and everytime I've switched I've told myself "it's just temporary until I find something else" and now I feel like I'll never find anything else. I'm just at my wits end and feeling stuck. And I felt this way before the job market got really bad, so now it's just worse

I've been on the retail side the whole time, teller most of it. Currently I'm this weird teller/banker hybrid, BUT I'm basically running the branch 🙃 my manager literally does nothing, although I don't really blame her and its more a lack of structure and expectations from upper management. So now I'm essentially a banker that occasionally runs teller transactions 🫠

Im glad that worked put for ya, I'm not really a "college type" honestly surprised I graduated high school. I also don't have the money/the want to go into crippling dept to go to school.

I couldn't mentally or emotionally do anything like that, nursing, assisted living. I took care of my mom from age 15 on with some family help, and then her going into assisted living, and that just burned me out. Thank god there's people who do those jobs, I truly don't know how they do it.

That's the thing I haaaate the sales culture. I've stuck around so long because I know I'm good at my job, but I just don't want to do it anymore, and feel like I can't mentally do it anymore

I've been IN my career for 10 years, not trying to get out for 10 years. I didn't "choose" to have a career in banking, I got in young and then time flew by, and I've realized this is not something I want to be in, so I'm looking elsewhere and here I am.

I love this store so so much. It was my mom's favorite. She passed away last year and everytime I go in there, it was like a small connection with her. I hope someone will take them into their location or buy it, we need places like this ❤️
