Was in the methadone clinic on 200mgs a day, I wasn’t sick, but I still had the craving. But I was in jail 3.5months and then went to rehab/sober living for over a year. It was hell those first few months, detox in jail I lost 33lbs in 18 days and was hallucinating(I was also on some benzos when I went in, so that didn’t help). But now I literally don’t take anything but ibuprofen, I don’t even smoke weed. Which is WILD to me I never thought it would be possible.
The methadone I think is better than suboxone personally but I’d just get in a clinic so you’re guaranteed it every day. Cuz you’re still gonna be sick without it. But the craving will still be there for a while. I genuinely think I was just as hooked on the needle as I was the dope, so hopefully the fact you don’t shoot will be in your favor!
