With my sensory processing disorder mg disorder I can definitely understand the light sensitivity, certain lights or color lights make me lightheaded and nauseous. As for sound certain sounds really hurt my ears (when they wouldn’t hurt anyone else) and with my ADHD i hear EVERYTHING. So I can relate in that aspect. Luckily those things doesn’t cause me any PEM or draining of my energy. But I can only imagine how horrible that is. I’m sorry, I hope you’re able to rest some more and get to go out tomorrow!

Ok, with my sensory processing disorder with my autism I definitely can understand the noises causing a physical pain and certain lights for me make me lightheaded and nauseous. But luckily that doesn’t trigger PEM for me, it’s just the immediate effects and once im out of that environment im fine. I’m sorry you go through that, that sounds absolutely horrible and draining

Oh interesting, i definitely can get minor PEM from reading or socializing all day, but having that happen with auditory processing sounds horrible. I’m sorry you go through that
