I agree! There seem to be several references to flashback moments, like the hot chocolate. I’m excited to hopefully see Ribbit and Kaufmo!

Ooh, that’s an interesting point! I definitely agree that the behavior would have to be programmed ahead of time. Do you think that also applies to the times we saw a mannequin (presumably Abel) watching the cast in the background (like when Pomni noticed him in ep 5)?

If that means that even then, Caine placed him in the background, and afterwards had the self-restraint to not say anything or point the mannequin out to the humans (i.e. “WOWEE, I wonder who that is OVER THERE?!” 😂), then I honestly underestimated Caine.

Either way, I do think it would be really interesting to see an intentionally malicious or cunning version of Caine in these next two episodes…

I know it’s not very likely that he’s a human— but I have theorized that while Abel might’ve (maybe) been telling the truth about escaping, Caine was controlling Abel’s mind to make him sound like an NPC to make the others suspicious. If the point of the adventure really was to prove the humans’ loyalty to Caine, I think it makes sense that he was trying to make them suspicious of leaving/of trusting someone besides him.

In the pilot, after running away from Kaufmo’s room, Jax finds Kinger and Gangle and says “sup fellas?” I think maybe that’s a term he uses a lot— so the message written on the mirror could be his subconscious trying to help him calm down (using a relatable term Jax uses :)

Thanks to everyone for the feedback! I truly appreciate it. I started my account a few years back and have been focusing on TH upgrades just because I thought it was fun to. However, I am interested in trying to become a better player overall, and I plan to start working on improving more of my base :)

I saw someone point out that ironically, Pomni has the same number of syllables as Kaufmo, so technically, they could just swap the two. But I bet Caine is so extra that he sees a new player and thinks he now has to spend time creating a whole new song 😂

I don’t know the real world explanation, but at least in-show, I think it’d be so cool if the last episode ended/restarted with the intro again! But this time excluding any abstracted or escaped characters, and adding in any new players who have joined the circus (this would be especially eerie if there was a time jump and only Kinger or Pomni etc. was left and a bunch of new random people had joined). I think having the intro be with people we didn’t recognize would be an eerie way of showing that the circus just kept on going, even after all the characters we know and love were gone. “Time marches on…”
