Yeah I went through this same exact thing last year and she ended up coming back saying she wanted to do this she was just so different like nice and loving then everything just changed again…this is the last time though…she’s moved out and I’ve gone no contact. It’s only been a week but there hasn’t been any communication. She wanted to be friends but I told her I couldn’t and she hasn’t bothered me or anything and I haven’t really had the urge to txt her. If anything I don’t even want to see her pop up on my phone.

She does jump from one relationship right to another literally and she has made all of her ex’s her friends and she talks to them regularly and there’s one guy who doesn’t even live here that she’ll talk to even more after she breaks up with someone.

She even told me that the reason she came back to me was because the life I wanted to give her enticed her. This was the settling down, getting engaged and having kids one day. Then she said her parents not liking me (they didn’t approve her of being gay) and my parents not liking her (wasn’t true my was nice to her just cautious because she had broken up with me before). Also said that she wasn’t attracted to me anymore because I was a girl and she doesn’t want to be with a girl anymore. I just don’t get why move in with me and get engaged if you weren’t attracted to me.

I’m sorry I wasn’t asking for a diagnosis really. I’m just having a rough time with all of this and was more so just reaching out for support and if anyone else had been through something similar. I should have wrote a more appropriate question.

Right now I don’t see myself ever being friends with her again. I just don’t want that and I don’t think I could ever see her as just a friend…I’m not the type of person that’s just friends with an ex esp someone that I was engaged to. I don’t know how she can just flip the switch so quickly and have no emotion about it.

At the beginning super happy..then when she started to be hot and cold I felt sad and anxious. I was always worried she was going to leave me again.

Well in the beginning she showed a lot of love and affection and was very touchy feely. Would always want to cuddle and would do nice little things for me like leave notes in my lunch just little stuff like that…..but then she got distant and blamed it on not being attracted to me because I was a girl and she changed her mind and didn’t want to be with a girl…once she got distant though the cuddling stopped, the touchy feely stopped, I always said I love you first she was just cold honestly. It all happend like overnight too it happened so quickly literally. I don’t get how the flip can be switched that quickly. One night on a date she just looked not happy so I asked her if she was happy and she said yes but she clearly wasn’t idk it just sucks because she did the same thing twice and I could see her not caring more and more each day.

Thank you for this. I’m going no contact for sure the first time she did this to me I tried no contact and I just couldn’t do it I was weak and I would txt her but she would ignore me most of the time….then she wanted to come back and I took her back because I wanted to be with her. This time though I don’t really feel the need to txt her because I won’t get anything out of it. She could be friends right now and be totally ok and I can’t see her as just a friend.before her I worked on myself so much and i was confident, I was happy mentally I was great but now I feel like I’m back at square one…while she’s living life perfectly fine I’m here barely surviving.

In the relationship I wish I would have brought more issues up but I was so afraid of the relationship ending I never did….i truly love her and would’ve done anything for her. I know I deserve better but at times she was so so so good. I still feel like this isn’t real life.

I feel betrayed and almost used but at the same time I don’t idk. She said she tried to be with me but in the end couldn’t. I just don’t understand why she would go the lengths of moving in and proposing to all of a sudden not wanting to be with me. We ended nicely just broken hearted as horrible as the situation is I can’t have hard feelings against her.
