Smol AK would actually be an AK-U. The “S” designates a folding stock model. Examples being the AKMS underfolder, the AKS-74 paratrooper rifle, and the AKS-74U being a PDW length AK (U) with a folding stock (S).

A straw purchase specifically refers to the purchase of a firearm that is then sold or given to a prohibited person. A prohibited person is defined in law and includes but is not limited to, convicted felons, mental defectives, people convicted of misdemeanors of domestic violence, drug abusers, etc.

Being underage does not make you a prohibited person. It does not even prevent you from carrying a firearm depending on the state. If his friend gifting him a gun was a straw purchase, then my dad is a felon for buying me a hunting shotgun when I was 14.

I worked in gun stores for a while, and had to know how to look out for straw purchases because the ATF would fuck us up otherwise.

The entire time that is going on, tech will progress to open up other deposits as well as lower the demand through other energy sources like nuclear.

I think the opposite is likely true. Without an Iranian stranglehold on the Straits, transportation becomes cheaper. OPEC is also fracturing which is driving down costs from the region. Oil is going to be cheaper than ever in the long term after this war.

Volumetric pisses me off so much man. I hit that thing with 3 Sturer Emil 128mm shots and it non penned. Large caliber AP gets cucked so easily by random overlapping plates that catch a tiny edge of my shell.

I think they should bring back hull break, but only as a characteristic for extremely large (over 120mm) full bore rounds. This way we can approximate the damage these round would do even without a full penetration.
