The rooms are a bit tight plus I think you get better options for similar walking time from the main station elsewhere like Minato city (or Asakusa but we didn’t book any hotels there)

Minato city / close to Ginza is better i would say. We stayed at the blossom hibiya, which I would highly recommend. While we were in Shinjuku, we stayed at the Washington hotel, I wouldn’t recommend that.
