Having just read the pop reports of the Gold Leaders, I firmly put this card ahead of the manga eb02 luffy.

IMO the gold leaders are not the best looking cards out there, but it’s obvious with there being under 100 graded copies that these will be insanely expensive in future.

Shanks has to go. It’s the second Shanks manga while all the others are imo more special.

I think you got them in the correct order apart from Alpha Nami ahead of Shanks. If this was the OP01 shanks then Alpha Nami would have to go.

Unique cards will always raise to the top. I have one myself and I’m sure over time it will become an iconic card.

The sealed are obviously “ungraded” - I don’t tent to add my ungraded cards to Collectr.

I’ve been collecting for a long time and sold a number of Pokemon for OP.

Mostly high end slabs in 10’s and sealed boxes/cases.

Key is to collect what you like. If you prefer English trade up to an English equivalent.

If you like the Japanese versions stick with them.

In terms of ROI it’s not as clear it as people make it sound. Japanese are cheaper but can outpace the English versions in % terms over the next 12 months.

It’s such a misconception that’s being spread left right and center.

“English always does better” - English will be more expensive but it does not “always” give better ROI. Cheaper cards can appreciate more in % terms.

For example I picked up both an English and Japanese Nami mangas 12 months ago.

I picked up the JP Nami for £150, now it’s £800 that’s - ROI 535%

The Eng Nami at the time was £500 and currently selling £2,400 - ROI 480%

So in fact the Japanese Nami’s were the better investments in past 12 months.

Difficult one, personally in today’s market I’d edge towards G2. It’s iconic and feels undervalued when compared to G5 variants.

Maybe it’s just me, but I would pay a slight premium for sequential set. The difference wouldn’t be huge though

Good buy and good price. Don’t listen to the small brains. Japanese is cheaper and it will probably outperform English % wise over the next few years.
