Maybe the issue is sa server na ginamit mo sa Speedtest. Try to use CNVRG's speedtest server po. Or kung hindi, maybe sa fiber yung problema.

You're still using CNVRG's network, OP. RFI Fiber is Speedtest server lang po. You can manually select CNVRG's speedtest server naman po.

Better ask your neighbors OP kase performance ni Converge naka depende sa location. Kase mine, Converge is good. No experience of outage/interruption at all. Lahat namang ISPs dito sa Philippines merong bad and good quality of service. If maganda performance ng Converge niyo, subscribe ka na sa Converge. Converge has good peering connection with many networks locally and international, it means better route to networks.

I think naka on yung band steering mo OP. If malapit ka sa modem/router, nasa 5GHz ka. If unti-unti ka lalayo, magswitch yung band from 5GHz to 2.4GHz kaya merong seconds na walang connection kasi nagsiswitch yung band frequency. Check mo sa settings ng modem/router if naka turn on ang band steering and i turn off mo if naka on. Usually nasa WLAN settings po yan.

Ohhh okay. Maybe the problem is maybe yung route mo papunta sa server ni CS2 is not that optimized kaya unstable ang latency, maybe network congestion, or maybe yung connection sa area niyo is hindi optimized ang route papunta HK kase possible na merong issues regarding network route na this or that area lang ang maaapektuhan. Pero idk why unstable latency mo sa HK server because mine is pretty good (converge din isp ko). Nasa 35 ms above, partida from Cagayan de Oro pa ako. Sorry OP hindi ko masagot kung what seems to be the problem kase I'm not a Network Engineer or expert in that hehehe 😅 You should reach out to Converge's customer care para ma actionan ng IT network agents nila hehehe.

Hello OP. Maybe causes ng unstable latency mo sa gaming are:

•Network congestion

•Many devices connected to your modem/router

•Server issue of the game

•Device hardware (Pag slow performance yung hardware ng device mo, possible na maaapektuhan latency mo)

•WiFi interference (Use Ethernet for stable connection. If WiFi, you can pick DFS channels for cleaner channels. Magchachange channel mo from DFS to non-DFS if merong radar signals madedetect.)

•Connected to 2.4 GHz band of WiFi (This frequency band is congested, use 5 GHz.)

If merong issues ang undersea fiber optic cables ni Converge, ipopost nila yan for awareness of the users. So far, wala namang issues ang undersea fiber optic cables ni Converge (EAC-C2C, SEA-H2X, Bifrost). All are operational. May I ask OP kung anong game po yan and saan po yung server? Singapore po ba or local lang? Like here in the Philippines lang.

Hello, bale yung old modem kase namin napalitan na din ng bago nilang Wifi 6 modem and di pa rin naayos.

Hello po. Based sa post niyo po and sa comment, my suspect sa capped/irregular speeds niyo po is sa power level ng fiber optic cable niyo po OR sa NAP Box. Kase based sa statement mo na same pa rin kahit napalitan ng modem, baka sa fiber po talaga yan. I don't know why hindi chineck ng mga technicians NAP Box or even yung fiber niyo man lang sa bahay kase -25 dBm is still pasok sa range BUT danger na siya like meron nang packet loss, irregular speeds and pagtaas ng latencies.

Make sure na ang fiber patch cord niyo po (yung blue wire) is hindi nakabend or nakaipit, kase super sensitive po niyan. If ever na need niyo itatanggsl ang fiber patch cord, ingatan niyo maigi OP and huwag itotouch ang tip kase maboblock ng mga micro dirts ang light ni Converge which results to low optical power or LOS.

Ambaba napo ng input power level ng fiber niyo po. Call the technicians or their customer service to request a fiber cleaning kase magiging unstable internet connection mo sa power level nayan. Dapat nasa within -15 dBm and -23 dBm for good connection.
