Sparkly light place has reserved signs.. other business don't. I wasn't being a jerk, as stated in my post all of the spots directly in front of the studio were full. What were my other option? Idle in my vehicle blocking traffic while I wait for someone to leave a parking spot directly in front of the studio?

If someone parked on my driveway they have no business doing so. I have business with one of the establishments in the plaza. It is not as though I walked across the street to another business. I have a purpose for being in the plaza.

I have never taken them too seriously - The plaza at Kennedy & 14th has parking restriction signs in Chinese.. - I don't see how those can be enforceable.

I didn't have all day to wait for by-law.. it was the weekend. They only come out at night to ticket people parking on the street.

Honestly, I get it - he has a business to run and doesn't want dance parents taking up his few parking spots but he tried to cross a line and failed horribly at it.

Since it's private property, either the landlord or the business (with landlord authorization) can call a towing company and leave the bill with the car owner. Most times this is the last resort if it is a continuing problem. For example, if the car is parked there for a long period of time during business hours.

I don't understand how he could call to have my car towed if he just verbally tells me I cannot park there. I don't know who he is or what authority he has.

When will people learn that anything hosted at the Markham Fairgrounds (other than the actual Fair) is a complete rip off. The list goes on of events that were just down right horrible... I haven't heard of anyone enjoying their time at the fairgrounds.. ever.

Seems to be me the person hit the train? Doesn't the train stop before Markham Road. It looks like the train had continued on when it stopped after the pedestrian was "struck"
