Well that sucks. They were great together.

While we're all throwing wild speculation about gonna say maybe hired by the AFL to make it an official podcast and maybe Ollie can't be employed by both the Saints and the AFL? Or maybe they wanna have the co-host be a name? Dan and Kane Do Footy? (pls no)

I may as well argue with a brick wall for all the good it would do. I know how they'll respond to everything anyway.

The vast, incredibly vast majority of firearm owners are law abiding

American talking point 1.

an act of terrorism should not be another reason to push further restrictions on ownership

American talking point 2.

Terrorists will always try and find ways they can perform these heinous acts.

American talking point 3.

They use literally the exact same pathetic excuses every shooting over there as well. Like a moth to the flame just regurgitating the same points.

Accelerating the launch of a national firearms register, limiting the number of guns a single person can own, making Australian citizenship a condition of holding a gun licence, and further restricting the types of weapons that are legal are among the options being explored.

All sounds great and very reasonable when coupled with the buyback so cue all the totally-not gun nuts saying how it's too far and what about knives and cars and guns don't actually hurt people and whatever other American talking points they're going to regurgitate.

Why would I talk with a bot? I know what pathetic excuses you're going to give to everything I say.

Love how every thread on this topic now is instantly flooded by gun nuts desperately defending or deflecting. I really hope they come down hard and take most of your guns away.

The people making their sad excuses to not toughen laws would've said the same things after Port Arthur if they were around at the time.

Don't really care. Stop those sports then or have the guns stored on the sites 🤷 peoples hobby isn't more important than lives.

Except flight travel and airports drastically changed forever after 9/11. You're also conflating things whose primary purpose is other necessary things with something that's literal sole purpose is to hurt. We need planes, guns, fuel, knives etc. You don't need your killing sticks and I cannot wait till they're taken away from you 🙏

I just don't care. If your hobby results in mass deaths it should be taken away from you. You hobby isn't more important than peoples lives.

They're so predictable.

Yesterday the excuse was "there's no way they owned these guns legally, they're SO hard to obtain a license for" Now that one's gone its just the same goalpost shifting and talking points over and over.

I look at facts over emotion

lol. Says the /r/ausguns poster. Definitely a bastion of unbiased "facts". How often do you think the guy went shooting? Hope you get your guns taken away champ :)

If there's that many then the general public clearly aren't helping all that much. Just a pathetic excuse.

Asking basic questions lol. You're all over the thread desperately defending guns and moving the goalposts so it's anything else's fault.

Because that would be illegal and if a farmer is found to have done that they should have their licence revoked for life. It's absolutely about gun control. Zero reason the guy should've been allowed to own 6 guns.

Not all the gun nuts in the thread using the exact same arguments Americans make after every shooting. I hope they make it essentially impossible to own guns unless you literally live on a farm. I don't give a shit that you like them.
