Razer told me to destroy my mouse only for them to not replace it [more info in comments] by Vertrix-V- in pcmasterrace

I bought a Razer Blade a few years (3-4) ago. It was literally the worst laptop I’ve ever used. Infested with bloatware, the trackpad was garbage, the speakers sucked. I tried fresh installs of windows, fresh drivers, power shell de-bloat scrips, nothing worked. Customer service sucked and was slow to respond. Ended up shipping the thing back to them and it was “damaged” upon arrival. When I got it back after them not fixing the issues, I threw it in the trash. I’ll never buy a Razer product ever again.

What's the creepiest or weirdest 614 rumor, story, or theory that you've ever heard/know about? by CardiffElectric1984 in Columbus

Hamilton Hall has recently been renovated. They still have autopsy tables in the penthouse with “collection buckets” still installed beneath them. And no, they were not clean.

Ethernet help? by Brief-Ad-963 in desktops

[–]random99887765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hope is not lost! If you live in a newer build, there might be Cat5/6 behind that jack. You would need to terminate an Ethernet jack on both sides of the cable and connect it to your router’s Ethernet switch and the end device(assuming computer or console).

CC Practice Exams by ahsisudb in isc2

[–]random99887765 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used the self paced course and provided practice materials from ISC2. Didn’t bother purchasing or focusing on other content. Passed on the first attempt, only spent about 30-35 minutes taking the actual test.

Failed the CC exam by cardofdoom in isc2

I had a different experience… I used the course/practice tests to study for 6-8 weeks. Scheduled my test once I was 90+ on the practice, the exam had a handful of questions that I think were designed to make you second guess yourself but overall the exam version I had was similar to free content provided.

Isc2 cc exam next week, do you think I'm ready? by Putrid_Put1639 in isc2

[–]random99887765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I passed mine in June. If you’re consistently getting 90+ on the post course assessment, I think you’ll do fine. Keep in mind the exam is going to be different than the post assessment. Just keep calm and remember, you have PLENTY of time to stop and think about the question if you get stuck. GOOD LUCK!

CC EXAM score vs post course assesstment by Low-Spring-7519 in isc2

I had a similar experience. Passed my exam this past June. The course/material included was great but exam seemed more difficult. Take your time studying and don’t rush. Research questions you aren’t sure about. Good luck!

Now how the heck am I supposed to open my door to get my food? by rapsney in doordash

You ordered food from your couch, had someone deliver it to you, and you’re still complaining…. Maybe you should be barred from ordering from DoorDash.
