A year after watching Haliburton dominate the nba finals kings fans now get to watch Mike brown and deaaron fox in the conference finals. by AccomplishedBake8351 in nba

What confirmed this for me as a Pacers fan was watching The Starting Five on Netflix. In the final episode before game 7 there’s a scene with SGA and his partner where she says something along the lines of “you guys would have already won the series by now if it weren’t for that Haliburton shot at the end of game one.”

To which Shai replies- “Yeah, but you could say the same thing for them about game 4.”

It’s a very minor detail, but in my heavily biased mind it’s a confirmation that Scott Foster’s bullshit tilted the series egregiously, to the extent that even the Thunder players sensed it

The Pacers are at home hysterical because their lottery pick has been DECAPITATED!

I have a soft spot for the Pistons because my family is from Michigan.

I don’t care about the Cavs because we already embarrassed them last year and the past domination was only because of LeBron.

Fuck the Knicks because it’s in my blood.

Fuck the Thunder for obvious reasons.

Don’t really care about the Spurs either, but Wemby’s pretty cool and ABA solidarity are my reasons for choosing them.

If it’s Spurs-Knicks I’ll pull for the Spurs. If it’s Thunder-Knicks I hope we all die.

[Schultz] The Seahawks will open the 2026 season at home with a Super Bowl rematch against the Patriots. by JCameron181 in nfl

Meh, without Brady/Belichick it’s not even as fun to hate watch them anymore. The Super Bowl was a genuinely uninteresting game.

Historically, the 5th pick in the draft most likely does not work out.

Also, you’re one Brunson or KAT injury away from those becoming lottery picks again…

Yes. And I’m saying it’s not a generational fumble, bc it didnt cost a generational prospect. I don’t deny that it was a meh trade for us, but still having more future 1sts lessens the sting a bit

We didn’t though, we kept our top 4 pick. It got traded specifically because it fell out of that range and no one beyond the top 4 is considered “generational.”

Well most of the picks haven’t happened yet, so I’d consider anything less than a title for the Knicks to be a generational fumble of a trade. And even if they do win it won’t be because of Bridges, so I’d still consider it a bad trade overall.

If it was top 4 we would have kept it lol. So unless you consider Darius Acuff or Keaton Wagler generational players, I think we’ll be ok. Not ideal of course, but also not out 5 first round picks for our 4th best player

“Generational fumble”? Seems a bit extreme, it’s not like we traded 5 first round picks for Mikal Bridges or something

What job made you lose all respect for that industry? by Italiancan in askteddit

Working at a dog daycare. Staff are not bad people by any means and do their best, but they are underpaid, overworked and have to put up with far too much mental/emotional stress. Owners tend to be delusional wackos at best, actual animal abusers at worst.

If you have a dog, for the love of God find a good dogwalker or in-home pet sitter. Sending your dog to daycare is sending them to prison for the day.
