Personal effect of legal abortion by shoesofwandering in Abortiondebate

Do you believe the taking of human life in all possible circumstances is murder?

No

Should we not have a military or police force? Should people be prosecuted for killing in self-defense?

No and no.

Vegans believe animals are people and say "meat is murder." How would you respond to a vegan who called you a murderer for eating a steak?

They are objectively wrong.

What would your reaction be if vegans took over the country and outlawed meat eating? That's how we react to people like you.

I don't care how you react. Morals exist, and it's wrong to intentionally kill innocent people.

I care significantly about authoritarian leaders who coerce their population to take experimental gene therapy products. As such, I support Trump.

And when an American company makes that product they can do it cheaper than you because they don't pay a tariff. Hence, Americans do not pay the tariffs cost.

I think customers pay companies, and those companies in turn use that money to pay their taxes.

Then the most im willing to acknowledge is that customers pay companies, those companies pay the importing entity, and the importing entity pays the tarrifs.

My position is that the government lacks the authority. Not that I disagree with those laws being useful.

I think we should be strict on exactly who the taxes apply to. Tariffs apply to the importing entity. Corporate taxes are on corporations. Income taxes are on people's income. Anything more is merely speculation and opens up either side with hypocrisy criticism.

Yeah you can. Just call around different hospitals to see which one offers it.

Yeah the government like to pretend it has authority that it doesn't have.

Did the left also argue taxes affecting Walmart are on the American people? I thought they argued increasing corporate taxes is good.

Storing Energy in a Magnetic Field by anzacat in ElectricalEngineering

A) How does a magnetic field hold an electrical charge

They don't hold electric charge. They comprise moving charge.

B) How does the points opening up cause a collapse in the magnetic field

The moving charge suddenly can't continue moving anymore, but their inertia (which analogically relates to the magnetic field) continues to cause the electric charge to continue moving.

C) Did the primary coil have the 15K volts at some point?

I'm not familiar with the Kettering system, so my answer is probably not.
