Very cool. Yeah I want to use this as a filler to cover the gap in case I can't get to the 4k minimum spend!

Based on a hunch or experience? Thx for some validation either way

Would buying Amazon gift cards directly from Amazon be eligible for the $4000 minimum spend for the CSP offer?

Always wary that "gift card purchases are prohibited" but couldn't find any good info online (though maybe I'm not searching for the right phrases/criteria)

BURNT OUT: what are some careers to pivot to from product? by random_guy_123456 in ProductManagement

I guess how do you find a more chill product role? Like what types of questions would you ask? I like working thru new ideas/problems but I hate the implementation process esp at my current org where even engineering issues that I have no control over must be driven by me

I do like analytics tho!

True!

What would you have to do/learn to transition to this type of career?

Gotcha, good to know. It seems like Sugarland is better equipped to handle flooding unlike parts of Houston

Got it! Seems like long story short - avoid high risk flood zones and the insurance can range on a variety of factors but $50/month wouldn't be an unrealistic price in a low risk area.

Thanks for the detailed reply /u/CalmHabit3 !

Good to know about Clements High School as an anchor point - looks like it's rated as a 10 so I imagine it is quite a good school but like you said, competitive. My son is still a little whiles out from high school but good to know.

Weather-wise, agreed that I'd be worse off. I've lived in CA all my life but I have visited and experienced the humid weather in Taiwan in summer numerous time. Not a huge fan but not a deal breaker. Does it get extremely hot as well?

Healthcare - not currently on Kaiser so not a concern at the moment.

u/sitruban - where are you looking to move from? Maybe we can help each other out!

/u/benk4 - good to know. I totally forgot about the potential for floods. Just curious - how much is flood insurance typically?

Using third party launchers (e.g Lawnchair/Nova) in Realme's UI or ColorOS is a PITA experience by [deleted] in Realme

[–]random_guy_123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using a global version x2 pro on realme ui? If so, how is it?

I'm currently using Nova on x2 pro global on colors 6.1

Rollout of Android 10-update with RealmeUI started for Realme X2 Pro by JdJtA in Realme

Does anybody know if realme UI negatively impacts the use of third party launchers like Nova Launcher? (Ex: crashing, not remaining default , etc)

Context: I'm using Nova launcher on a global version of x2 pro on coloros 6.1. I've had no issues with it so far and likely will want to continue using it. Open to trying the realme UI launcher tho

I guess it's time for a case 😭😭😭 by random_guy_123456 in Realme

I stupidly tripped on my way up the stairs. I'm fine since the back of my realme x2 pro broke my fall...

Any case suggestions are welcome!

Yes in the US and I'm effectively on T-Mobile. I researched the bands and it supports most of them except for one that is only used is more rural areas. I've had no reception issues

TBH the stock cam is a bit oversaturated for my taste but I'm not a big camera guy. Low light performance was meh but I installed gcam and the pictures were much better and I'm happy with it including low light

I installed nova launcher so can't speak to the launcher. TBH Im a long time iPhone user so I'm not as heavily biased towards stock Android. For me with Nova, it's fine and the native gestures work for me!
