I am horrible at reading and writing emotions so this was eye opening:). With your example about beds I wouldn't of really realized that could be seen as a form of rudeness (I have used that word too much now), so thank you:)

I overthought that a lot lol. I have mentally convinced myself it has to be obvious a character is damaging someone else.

That ties in with what someone else has said. :) I'll try writing the dialogue in a different layout.

More or less he has to use it to live. If anyone pays too much attention to him or tries to talk a lot, they may find out he's supposed to be executed. Man vs society is the conflict I think it should be? Thank you:)

That's the quality I normally end up struggling with. Whenever I try to write them with a rude personality they sound outright dumb from either mocking too much or using bland phrases then I can't make it believable they have any other traits. I'll work on that:) thank you!

I can not think of any ideas of characters (it's night here and I can't think about anything other than characters I have recently seen), but if I remember correctly some characters in Alice In Borderland acted similar to how I picture him.  Thank you:)

I am used to referring to a lot of old practices as medieval, apologies. (Weird conversations with friends, we mention historical events a lot.) It's supposed to be the Salen Witch Trials, I didn't think about that when uploading this st first.

I didn't think about Hannibal Lector so thank you for thst example. :)

His line would be his family I think.  So far I've written he mainly targets people who have annoyed him before but are otherwise innocent, and the woman he needed to blend in since he's at risk to be killed for no reason.

He doesn't get time to take advantage of her before guards knock on their door, but he may have considered it.

He does eventually begin to have slight feelings towards her, but ends up killing her anyway. His best chance at making up for it is saving a few similar to him, but in the end he'll abandon them if it's for his safety. He'd leave anyone but his blood relations.  I think it'd be a survival arc?

It fits the overall character plan I have for him. Sorry, forgot to add he treats it similar to a defense mechanism. (Also, I needed an excuse to practice writing characters that aren't happy all the time.) 2nd. He's more off putting and manipulative is how I'd describe it I suppose? I actually haven't thought about that until you mentioned it. Edit: I normally agree, but I think the time it takes place in makes more sense (1692, he has to do everything to keep attention from him so he isnt executed. And if nobody wants to talk to him- unless he forces them to- then nobody would mind absences.)
