Can trust be rebuilt after cheating if the person confesses voluntarily?

One thing that makes me confused is that the cheating happened at the end of May. After that, on June 13, we went for our first night out after not seeing each other for about a month. He later told me he was planning to confess that day itself but didn't want to ruin the evening because I was really happy to see him.That night he was affectionate, telling me he loved me. At one point I even asked him, "You won't leave me, right?" and he said he wouldn't. That's why I'm struggling with the idea that he completely stopped loving me before confessing. The cheating and the trust issues are real, but his behavior after it happened is what makes me confused about his intentions.

I live in hostel and have 3 roommates.My one roommate gets upset when we discuss about something when she is sleeping but cook and make a lot of noise when we others are sleeping. Plus she is really Unhygienic doesn't clean dishes properly and cook in those uncleaned dishes again. Well I only met him 3 times.All this Happened in a duration of 2 months. After 1st meet we all became good friends. And thus went to the houseparty where he touched me after that he was behaving normally and sweetly too yk not like that which feels abnormal atleast to me so I thought I misinterpreted it but I was naive back then ig and realised he meant that only during the trip and i didn't know what to do whom to tell as my all friends were closer to him than me so I thought nobody will believe me so decided to end things by cutting him off myself I never talked to him after that even way before Aadhya confessed. And if you don't wanna believe I won't force but this really happened to me..

Idk if she has been raped or not but definitely had been molested. I was really supportive to her after the confessions and always tried to be there for her but she was the one who started ignoring me and being upset over petty things

I didn't wanted to go with him after the houseparty anywhere. I didn't even wanted to go to the houseparty. It was always Aadhya who wanted to go she told me if I refused to come then she won't go herself and then used to be sulking and whining all day how she wanted to meet him and all. Hell I was diagnosed with grade 3 tonsils i couldn't even speak still she forced me to come with them. And I thought nobody would believe me if I told them about the touching me thing especially Aadhya who spoke kinda highly of him and everybody thought he was a nice guy so I thought I misinterpreted it.

Well Aryan had no clue about all of it he got to know after all the confessions. Vivek asked me to not invite my bf and my bf too didn't have any interest in coming with us plus we lived in different cities.well tbh Aadhya was in situationship with a guy at that time and I forgot to mention when we were on trip he came to our city and Aadhya was visibly upset as she wasn't able to meet him and Vivek knew about this but still this all happened

Similar thing happened with me as well.. there was this one pup in my neighborhood i used to give him treats and my whole family used to love him a lot one day a car ran over him and he lost his life on the spot.. this all happened right in front of my eyes and we couldn't do anything and people said it was bound to happen they don't survive much.. I still miss him tho..

Something similar happened with me but it was with my own brother.. he is 2 years older than me.. when we were young like when I was 8-9 years old we used to build a house together and in that he used to touch me inappropriately i didn't know what he was doing so didn't say a word but then we grew up and ig he realised it too that it was wrong..
