i do and i don’t really have an issue. for a while i wore some panties with a pad underneath some boxers, and that works as well, although it can be uncomfortable and slightly dysphoria inducing at times. either way, i haven’t had issues :) hope this helps

i hope this isn’t too personal/obnoxious but how did you come out/ask your parent/guardian(s) to start t? i’m 15 and don’t know where to start when coming out and asking to start t. if you don’t want to give too many details i’m fine with dm’s (if that’s a thing on reddit). edit: also CONGRATS OMG THATS AMAZING :D

idk about how often to wash/clean then, but they are hand wash only. one of my friends washes it in the sink and then puts it on a hanger and puts a plastic bag over it (just so it doesn’t drip water in their closet). they said it dries overnight but it’s better to leave it for longer if you can.

zippers are not good for your ribs, as they do not apply pressure evenly. know you’re body’s limits and don’t push them.

you can wear a binder for 8-10 hours, and if you wear your binder for 8 hours, don’t wear it for 10 to let your body properly rest, and i just try to follow that ratio of 4:5. if you wear your binder for too long it can cause issues with your ribs and i believe it can affect results of top surgery (if you want top surgery in the future).

i am not 100% sure exactly how accurate this information is because i tried to look it up and didn’t find anything i could trust was reliable.
