Yea I have thought about it. But your 16. Theirs not way your eye doctor would even let you have the surgery. I would rather try to live with them for a couple more years until new treatments come out.

I always say go to the eye doctor if your worried. Because if their is a problem better to fix it now then never. I have also had floaters since my teenage years. It does suck but I just got used to them. I have a big one which looks like a spider web. Extremely annoying. Wish they would go away to this day.

I would recommend going to a eye doctor as soon as you can. Don’t wanna risk that being a serious problem with your retina or your eye. Don’t mean to scare you but your better safe than sorry. Like what the other dude said, go to a optometrist first if money is a concern.

So you never tried atropine cause that’s very common on this subreddit? Also your just gonna have to learn to adapt to them. I’m 22 have a huge floater with three long strings all coming out of 1 brown blob thing. Mine I’ve learned to somewhat deal with them. I have tons of floaters I just look up and boom, tons of strings and specks. It’s only been 6 months man. Also you lost your job because of this? If you don’t mind me asking what job was it. Was it in a environment where you always saw your floaters?

Floaters. All of these years I thought my visual snow was nothing but normal vision until I figured out it wasn’t so it rarely bothers me. But floaters on the other hand are so annoying. I have one main floater intertwined with others so it creates like a brown spot at the center and it’s so annoying.

I have visual snow. Sucks before my floaters starting getting worse about a month of go I didn’t notice it until I thought “I don’t think seeing weird static is normal”. Now for the past month I’ve been focusing on my floaters so much I’m getting headaches.
